Davin Indah Love story

I got this post from social media when one of my friends shared it in her timeline. I found it quite amusing at first and it's really what happens in our family. I always make sure that the children are eating well, healthy and not feeling hungry. On the other hand, my hubby will let the kids starve so during dinner time, they will eat a lot and appreciate the food because they have been hungry for more than 5 hours. As a mom, we have an instinct to protect and keep the children safe. However, my hubby will do opposite. He said that being hurt is not always bad idea because you'll learn something sometimes in the hard way. After thinking it more, I realise that isn't God like that ? He can be a father and mother in the same time, we don't know exactly his gender right. Sometimes God is like a mother, who will always protect and keep us safe but if we don't obey Him and want to do in our own, God will be like a father who will let us fall so that w

As we have committed to have couple time once a month, hubby decided to take on leave today and we planned to make the best of our time to plan for our future. We started our day with morning jogging at Kent Ridge Park, then we went back home for shower. After that we headed to PS Cafe at Harding Road for brunch, while waiting for our sons dismissed from school. We discussed about our 5 years plan as well as this year's plan and resolution. We could say that today's couple time was pretty fruitful at least both of us were in the same page and vision for the next 5 years haha

This prayer I got it from this blog  and I found it pretty meaningful to start this new year Heavenly Father, thank You for this day and for the ability to do the work that I will take on today. I know that I accomplish nothing without Your grace, and I trust that You will sustain me in all I do. If you are not with me in this work, then it will profit me nothing ; nevertheless, I know that because I surrender my works to You, You will be with me in all I do, in my successes and in my failures. I ask that You grant me peace to begin this day ready to respond to Your Most Holy Will and ready to love every person You have set in my path. St Joseph the Worker, pray for us. Our Lady Immaculate, pray for us.

This is a new year New Beginning New Chance New Opportunity to get it right Make the best of it We started New Year with going a mass in the morning. It's a solemnization of Mary as Mother of God.  I was grateful to Mother Mary, she's been there with us in bad and good times and in this new year, we also ask her to pray for us, our family so that we always be faithful to God and each other in whatever this year will bring Then we had our first family lunch at Saizeriya, it was a pleasant lunch to start a new year

In the evening, we had dinner at Singapore Seafood Republic at Festive Walk. We ordered scrumptious meals and our tummy was full with goodness. We headed back home around 10.30pm and watched the fireworks and change of the year from our comfort home while the kids were asleep before midnight. Au revoir 2018, It's been a great year after all. Thank you for the bittersweet memories.

We wanted to end the year 2018 with sweet and beautiful memory so we decided to have the last couple time in year 2018. We left the kids with their grandma at Sentosa in the afternoon. Then we had late lunch at Brotzeit Restaurant @Vivocity then we had sunset strolling from Vivocity to Sentosa. We were very grateful for what God has done in our life as husband and wife. Our love and faith have been challenged in the beginning of the year but in the end, it was victory that we could conquer all the challenges together.
