What a Sunday to end the year of Ox ! I was excited and looking forward to upcoming cruise trip this Thursday. It's been a hectic month with the kids schedule and timings and sometimes I need to wake up very early to send the kids and hubby to office and pick them up in the afternoon. In between, I am still busy with the works and courses.  And in 3 weeks time, our helper will go back to Indonesia, thus I want to enjoy and spend the time with my family without worrying about the household chores and daily hustle bustles. Unfortunately, this morning, we received the cancellation from the cruise liner due to covid.  At first, I was calm when receiving the news and thinking it is what it is, and many things we can't control especially this covid situations. I guess my mind was in the state of shock and hasn't sinked in yet, until I realised that it jeopardised all my plan and what I hope for. I can't hide my disappointment. I have been planning to re-do what I have missed

After our talk yesterday, we also want to walk the talk thus today we have cardio together with 6km running at Stadium. It feels good after that

Last Friday was a very hectic and long day, I started my day from sending the kids to school, coaching, going to the gym, working from home, volunteering, team bonding with company and serving as speaker for talkshow. I was nervous and had anxiety the night before because it's all back to back and once there's delay in one of the activities, it will affect the rest of the day, thus I started with morning prayer. I asked God's grace to provide what I need for the whole day. Morning until afternoon was going well according to my plan until I messed up the volunteering activity. I went to delivery food to senior citizens with our oldest son. We arrived early and I was taking the meals from the warmer bag. However, I forgot to put 2 meals to the car so in the end we needed to return back to the base camp and I became late and it had butterfly effect. This is my second volunteer job for meals on wheels and I came alone this time as my eldest son has CCA in school. It's fun and seeing the elderly's smiles make every sweat worth and I got this chrysanthemum drink from blind elderly.

This is our first ladies night with my gym mates at Monti. Love the ambience and the view. Thanks God for the nice weather. Met a new friend, talk about our sex life.

One of my wish list for my big 40 is to give back to society by doing some volunteering job and God answered my prayer.  One fine day, there's a flyer in one of my WA group chat. It's Meals on Wheels Delivery which they need people to help deliver meals to elderly in West area. Without thinking further, I said yes and contacted the person in charge and indeed they really need people to help them. So here I am on my first task to deliver the meals around Bukit Batok area with our oldest son.

What an awesome event to start a year, last Saturday we attended our eldest' son award ceremony. He received a GPA from his primary school and it's a sweet moment for us and especially for him and hubby. It's really a reward for his and hubby's hard works together hand in hand. We really proud of them. We celebrated it just the two of us in the evening after hubby finished badminton at Harry's Esplanade and ordered steak after that we strolled around Marina promenade talking about past and future. And on Sunday, we celebrate it with our kids at Brotzeit and McDonald's ice cream for a dessert.

We begin a new year with a date over pizza and pasta using Entertainer voucher and end it with ice cream. It's simple happiness and friendly in our pocket. We aim to stay low in budget for our date night as we have splurged on our date last year. The most important is a quality time that we spend and full attention to each other.
