February is a month to remember, it taught me life is full of surprise.  Expect less, give thanks more in what I have Appreciate little things that I may take for granted It's all began last sunday afternoon when I felt a mild sore throat and I knew something was not right with my body as I seldom get sick. I started to drink lots of water as that's what I always do when I am about to fall sick. I never come across that Mr. C will pick me. The next day when I woke up, I still felt the same so I took ART. My first ART was negative and felt awkward I used another ART and voila it turned out POSITIVE. Thanks God I was still okay in the morning only mild sore throat and I just drank lots of water literally and wore masks. I didn't really isolate myself in the room since I still need to do household chores, taking care the kids and cooking. What a beautiful day on Monday morning. Both of us took a leave and we spent this day just the two of us as we were still in courtship day. We started our day by doing cardio workout, 5km run around Harbourfront.  After that, we went home, quick shower and dressed up for lunch date at The Ranch. It's one of the best quality steak at affordable price. We ordered 350g rib eye steak with side dishes to share. Then we picked up the kids from school and dropped them home and we headed to Awfully Chocolate bakery for some chocolate dessert. Last but not least, we went to church for sunset mass to give thanks to God for the beautiful day, gift of love and joy  Say it with flower, his valentine's gift for me.

This is our first premier serving the Lord as family. I am a Worship Leader, hubby is a guitarist, our oldest son is a drummer. Then we continue to be speakers for the cell group Valentine's special edition. The topic is Rekindle love and desire, it's from our own experience. This is just a beginning and looking forward more adventure in serving the Lord together.

This year valentine is rather special. At first, we want to celebrate it during cruise as we have booked a nice restaurant there and I have prepared nice cloth to wear. Unfortunately, the cruise was cancelled so quickly we change the plan. Last Saturday, 2 days before Valentine, we had a Saturdate at Hopscotch cafe. A hidden gem at Gilman Barracks. The place is secluded and quiet but I love the ambience and good place to chill and relax. We used entertainer promotion and it's worth it for 2 cocktails and 1 huge truffle pizza. After that, we strolled along the quiet road before heading back home.  

After returning back the kids to home, we had a late lunch at Yakiniku Like. It's a reminiscence back where we were always eating gyukaku whenever we had staycation at Jakarta. Too bad, we only had this yakiniku Like, the closest and most affordable gyukaku

Thanks to hubby for his impromptu decision to book for a staycation at Sofitel Sentosa resort. He brought us there last Wednesday after Ola for a sneak preview and on Wednesday night, he already booked 2D 1N staycation. The impromptu decision that we never regret. We arrived around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon, the check in process was very smooth and our room got upgraded and even can add free extra bed, thanks to the front manager for his warm hospitality. We were "WOW" with the luxurious space of the room, it feels like home and the kids immediately loved it especially our oldest. There were 2 televisions, one was in the living room and another room was in our bedroom so there is no fight between them. After that, we went to a kids club to check out what's in there for about 15 minutes before going for a swimming.  It's just perfect weather, not too hot and cloudy, the water was warm too. We brought our own snack too. Fully satisfied and hungry after swimming, we wen
