Bonjour 2021

Happy New Year 2021, may this new year brings joy, hope, love, peace, good health and prosperity. My new year resolutions. I offer this up to God as I always remember that my plans are not always God's plans but His plans are always the best for us.

Au Revoir 2020

365 days are gonna pass 2020 has given us a lot of surprises Things may not work according to our plans But God's grace and providence surpass all Eventhough some people may though it's been an awful year because of covid-19, there are many good things come from this. It's a good reminder to what are the most important things in our life. For me,  1. Health is our wealth  Without good health, we are nothing. Even though we have a lot of money, it will make no use. We want to do good deeds but if we are sick, it won't happen. Our body is a temple of God and we are accountable to take care of it as our acknowledgement and gratitude for His beautiful creation 2. Family is our breath This year we have an opportunity to travel during Chinese New Year just before the lockdown, after that we never meet face to face again. We missed our parents, food, hometown. However, as a consolation, we still have our family and relatives here in Singapore. Things that we always take for g...

New Year Eve Quarantined (31 Dec 2020)

This year is really special, we celebrate Christmas and New Year eve with our family in Singapore only. We are hosting thanksgiving lunch inviting our close family and relatives at our home sweet home. We cooked western food, pizza, macaroni schotel, tropical salad, calamari rings and bought baked chicken. Everyone is happy and delighted. In the evening, we went to our friend's house and spent the night until count down. It was a great evening with praise and worship as our gratitude to almighty God. Hopefully next year will bring more hope, joy, peace, love, prosperity and good health. Cheers for 2020 !

A day in an island (28 Dec 2020)

Because of Covid-19 we are unable to travel overseas, the only place that resembles island in other place is Pulau Ubin. We departed from Changi Point Ferry terminal at 10am and reached there around 10.30am. We rented the bike and had brunch before exploring the island. One hour later after fuelling our body, we were ready for the adventure. The first stop was Cek Java Wetlands on the east part of the island. We climbed up to the viewing tower for the awesome view. Then, we journeyed to the west to Puaka Hill. Hiking and climbing up for another breath-taking view. It's all worth it. We finished our journey around 4pm and went back home, happy and tired.

Boxing Day Date (26 Dec 2020)

We have dedicated this Christmas weekend as family time. We gave our kids a freedom to choose one of their favorite restaurant. Our eldest wanted to have sushi for lunch, unfortunately our favorite sushi place has closed down. In the end, he chose McDonald as we only allow the kids to eat junk food twice a year (during birthday and/or Christmas). After lunch, we sent the kids home and we had couple time hunting for our own Christmas gifts. Hubby decided to get something that interests him which is whiskey and wine. I haven't decided yet what Christmas gift I would like to have. Then, we had dinner at TCC, one of my favourite cafes serving healthy choices and ending it with something sweet.

Christmas Day 2020

A very relaxing Christmas day I would say. In the morning, we attended mass even in different timing then we had lunch at home while the kids play game and open the presents. At night, we have dinner outside with our little family. Strolling down to Sentosa Cove, enjoying sunset and we got rainbow as a bonus.
