What to do when you don't know what to do

I’ve been absent from writing the blog for quite a while, as I felt there wasn’t any story worth sharing.

But today, I want to share something that happened in August.

For some time, I had been waiting and praying, asking God to show me whether I should persevere with this winter rental business. I often felt that all my efforts were in vain, and I had reached the end of my wits, unsure of what else to do.

In my prayer, I asked God specifically for a sign: if there was even just one try-on appointment in August, it would mean that He still blesses this business and that it remains aligned with His plan.

That very afternoon, I suddenly received a WhatsApp message from a man who wanted to arrange a try-on session for the next day. I replied quickly, asking for details — and to my surprise, he said 10 adults were traveling together!

I immediately told my husband, though I also explained that we didn’t have enough stock for such a large group. My husband encouraged me to call and explain the situation honestly, and to invite them to try anyway. If they liked what they saw, we could always order more.

The next day, the man came with his wife and son. They tried our collection, loved it, and were willing to wait until October when new stock would arrive. What touched me most was when I asked how he had found us. He said he had prayed, and then felt God directing him to our website.

This gave me so much encouragement. Though it presented a new challenge of sourcing the products they wanted — and praying again for God to provide the way and the funds — it reminded me that God is still working through this business.

Around the same time, we also launched digital ads and engaged a social media marketer. Slowly but surely, this has started producing results, with some enquiries coming through Instagram and WhatsApp.

Still, the business has been slow, and at times I feel weary and full of doubt. Yet it is only through the Eucharist and the grace of God that I find the strength to keep going.

Tomorrow, I have another try-on appointment. I’m praying that the customer will love our collection and make a booking for their trip.

Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
