I was given this plant last year by our dear friend, it doesn't need anything except water every 3 days.
However I'm not a plant person so I keep forgetting. That's why it almost dying and only left with a few leaves. I almost want to throw it away but I can't. I still feel that there's a hope until it's no more leaf there.
So during my morning prayer, I look at the pot. If the soil is dry then I water it.
One day, I have my water bottle with chia seeds inside. So I just water it with that water and some of the chia seeds also fell down into that soil. I didn't think anything, only hoping it can be a nutrition for the cactus plant.
A few days later, when I am going to water the soil, I notice something different, I thought that's my fake plant who fell there because I had another dry plant next to it and keep falling when the wind is strong.
As I'm about to pluck it, I noticed the root is in the soil then I realized the chia seeds have been sprouting.
I'm amazed how the things can happen.
In my reflection, I guess that's life isn't it.
Sometimes, we are going to give up because it seems that there's no hope. But as long as there's 1% chance, we should give our best.
Sometimes God also uses other persons, experiences or problems to help us to grow to be the better person. We need to be open to God's grace.
