39th Birthday Reflections !

I love the quote that I'm still 18 years old with 21 years of experience. It makes me always feel young, energetic but more mature and wiser.

I am so blessed to be pampered and showered with lots of love from my hubby, kids, parents, parents in law, brothers and sisters and friends. I can feel that God is with us through these people surrounding me, not only God, I feel that all angels and saints also love and look after me.

I give thanks for many things in my life.

1. Good health

Health is the most important element in my life. It's one of God's greatest gift that most of the time we take for granted. For me, taking care of my body to make sure that all organs and cells are functioning well is my accountability to the creator. Exercise and eating well become my lifestyle instead of chores. This is how I celebrate life.

2. Other half aka hubby

My hubby is my second love after God. He's the reflection of God's love, the way he treats me, cares and loves me as who I am and makes me grow in faith and personal development. He's always be there for me, listening to my stories, feeling, complains. He's the best gift God ever give to me after my good health.

3. My children

Watching them growing well and healthy and put God first in everything they do is all I ask for. They grow on their unique characters and personality. Yes, sometimes they annoy me but they also make my life colorful. They are the miracle of life which sometimes I could see my own reflection in them.

4. My parents and siblings

Knowing that they are still healthy and taken care of by God are what I ask for. Eventhough I am not so close with them but having them as part of my life is the gift that money can't buy. One of my greatest wishes is to see my dad being babtised as Catholic, accept Jesus as His savior before his earthly life times up.

5. My friends

One of my pillar supports is having friends whom I can be the way I am. And I'm so grateful and honored to have these privilege. Having a community who always support and remind me whenever I make mistake.

6. My co-workers

I thank God for putting me in this workplace where I can do self-actualization, contribute my talents and skills and give flavor to the environment.

7. Past experiences

I thank God for all ups and downs in my life that train me to be wiser and growing well. I always believe that whatever happens in my life either is good or bad according to my horizon is under God's control. And He always put everything good in the end.

Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
