First Business Trip after covid

I have been posted to a new post as sales associate and it's under Business Development Department since June 2022. It was an exciting journey, however I felt anxious and had a doubt in the middle of the journey whether I made the right decision. This was really out of my comfort zone, totally a new product and need to speed up my knowledge about the product as soon as I can.

I had no connection since I have left the workforce 12 years ago but I walked by faith relying on God's providence and daily grace.

Last week, I went to Jakarta for attending Indoagrotech event. It's a last minute decision when I got prompted during night strolling with my hubby. The prompt was like this I was asked to get the lead from the event and quickly I browsed the internet and saw the upcoming event which was one week away. After talking to my team and boss to get approval to go, I quickly booked the ticket and hotel and the ticket price was crazy but I had no choice whether we made a first step and learnt or regretted after that.

The journey was very smooth I would say, my flight was in the morning and hubby sent me to the airport.

After touching down, I went to drop my luggage to the hotel and went straight to the event and conference in Jakarta Convention Center. I met new people from new industry, listened to the conference and met my aunty and her friends who were supposed my prospect too.

After event, I went to meet my parents in law for dinner at Sate Senayan before returning back to hotel for good night rest.

The next day, I went to the gym first and had hearty breakfast before going to our Jakarta office. In the evening I met with my friends for dinner.

I departed the next day to Singapore, sent by my mom in law and she's thoughtful bring me lunch box just in case I didn't have time to have lunch in the airport as I was so busy calling and meeting. Finally I landed safely and met my family and friends again.

It's a fruitful trip as I got some potential leads along the way.

Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
