This was definitely the highlight of our trip, as we finally got the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the natural beauty outside Seoul. We rented a car for the day, and our first stop was Petit France, about an hour’s drive from the city.
Petit France is a charming village designed to resemble a French town, complete with beautiful scenery. We arrived around 9 AM, and it was so peaceful and quiet that we had the place to ourselves, making it the perfect opportunity to take photos as if we were in the French countryside.
Next, we went to experience the rail bike, a fun activity where we rode a four-seater bike attached to rail tracks. As we cycled along, we enjoyed the vibrant autumn foliage and passed through several themed tunnels, which added to the fun.
We then boarded a scenic train, which took us through more stunning landscapes, offering panoramic views of the colorful autumn leaves. It was a relaxing and picturesque ride.
For lunch, we treated ourselves to a delicious Korean BBQ, which was a bit on the pricier side but well worth it.
