Shazam movie

Last Saturday, we had this unplanned "no-bar" with moms and kiddos while daddies had a "bro's time". We watched Shazam, Superhero DC. I just followed the group to watch this movie without knowing what the story is all about. This is the synopsis of this movie : We all have a superhero inside of us - it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In 14 year old Billy Batson's case, all he needs to do is shout out one word to transform into the adult superhero Shazam. Still a kid at heart, Shazam reveals in the new version of himself by doing what any other teen would do - have fun while testing out his newfound powers.  But he'll need to master them quickly before the evil Dr. Sivana can get his hands on Shazam's magical abilities. The evils are 7 deadly sins which use people who are abused, hurt and hungry for worldly matters. In the end, Shazam wins the victory with the help of his foster family. It may seem like ju...

Blessed Sweet "17th Birthday" with the ladies (14 April 2019)

On Sunday, we planned to organize baby shower for our dear friends who are expecting baby boy and baby girl with the same due date. Unexpectedly, they also surprised me with delicious and pretty cake in the middle of the celebration. Again and again, I felt so much love and blessed with people surrounding me who accept and love me as who I am.

Blessed Sweet "17th Birthday" with FB Boaz and Ruth (13 April 2019)

Last Saturday during our weekly FB meeting, they gave me a birthday surprise which I never expected it before. After fellowship, my hubby asked us to go home, I never suspected anything because in the evening there's brother's time so I thought he wanted to have a good rest first. Just after I stepped out from the host's house, they sang happy birthday. I was so grateful, loved and blessed by my second family of circle here. Thank you Lord for the love that You gave to me through the community.

Blessed "Sweet 17 Birthday" (9 April 2019) - Holy Trinity

In the evening, we had a simple and warmth celebration with our little family and the Holy Trinity. I blew the candle and took a nice picture with my beloved ones then we went to Brio, my favourite restaurant for a feast. This is my thanksgiving prayer from my bottom of my heart "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior   Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid ; for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed ;  Because He who is mighty has done great things for me and Holy is His Name And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him. He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly."

Blessed "Sweet 17th Birthday" (9 April 2019) - Godly Husband

After finishing off the HDB Appointment we had 45 minutes before picking up the children, we decided to have quick lunch at Ichiban Boshi. We were still in awe of God's work and trying to make sense of what just happened thus we didn't indulge much. But we were very grateful that God has shown us His mercy and blessings upon us.

Happy 37th Birthday (9 April 2019) - House of Transfiguration

Today is my 37th birthday, and it feels especially significant. I’m embracing a new spirit, a renewed sense of purpose, and a fresh version of myself. Last night, our local church held the sacrament of reconciliation. As a family, we went there to humbly ask God for forgiveness and to grant us grace and the Holy Spirit, so we could embark on this new chapter striving for holiness. This morning, I woke up early at 5:30 a.m. for some quiet time with God while everyone else was still asleep. I prayed the Rosary, asking for humility, wisdom, and guidance for today’s important decision—selecting a unit for our third house. After finishing my prayers, I went to church for the morning Mass to receive the Eucharist, seeking strength and empowerment. When I returned home, my husband asked if I had any inspiration or answers about which unit we should select. I remained silent, simply saying that if it was meant for us, God would reserve it. After dropping the kids off at school, we headed t...

Family is The Greatest Blessings

Today is beautiful day and I am so grateful, feeling peace and joy after entering His holiness. My soul was brought back to Mt Hermon where we rode the chair lift to go up to summit. It's a white pitch dark and we couldn't see anything only the next chair lift in front of us. When we arrived there it's foggy and we couldn't see anything too, only persons next to us or perhaps few meters in radius from us. I was freezing cold and my fingers started to turn into blue back, when I told my husband he quickly brought me to go inside and there's a small cafe and heater that I could warm myself up and he bought me a hot chocolate and chocolate croissant. Then, God reminded me how much God loves me by sending my husband to my life. He's the picture of God as masculine figure. My husband may not be a perfect husband but the way he treats me and the family is a glimpse of God's love to us. He's a provider, protector, rule setter, and whom we ...
