Fruitful labour date

We spent Labour Day fruitfully, starting my day with half an hour jogging around the complex after that teaching our kids for around 2 hours. In late morning, we attended ME (Marriage Encounter) anniversary mass and received blessing for achieving 15 year milestone then we had lunch at don don ki with our kids. In the evening, we had seanema date at Sentosa. It's a fruitful and lovely Labour Day !

In the crossroad

This past few weeks I was in a dilemma, having self doubt and questions myself which path should I take. 1. Should I stay in this company, dedicate myself fully to help this company and bringing them to positive number ? Or 2. Should I move to other companies, learning new things and challenge myself to be the better version of me ? I didn't have any negative complains about my current company. The bosses are very nice, accommodating and respect each individual. The team is united even though each of us has different character, there are few conflicts here and there but it's manageable and because we want to give the best in each of our roles. The remuneration and benefits are good, I am still able to work from home, do my routine etc. What lacking is the direction, mentorship and coaching. Sometimes I feel so lost about which customers should I target, how should I engage with them effectively, is our product able to solve their problems etc and my team is just me and another ...

Dream big, start somewhere

Last month I had a prompt to do something "noble" hahaha. Born with entrepreneurial spirit, one of my dream is having my own business. The reason is not to earn a lot of money, have freedom to do whatever I want to do, etc but I want to do something meaningful and give an impact to people's live. As I have mentioned in my 40th birthday reflection, 40 is a new 20, a second chance to live fullest to my potential. My dream is to set up fashion marketplace that empowers local fashion brand, gives good quality and unique and superb service to the 1st tier customers and provide the platform for these 1st tier customers to resell to 2nd and 3rd tier customers at discounted price so everyone can enjoy the quality collection. And we also provide platform for those who want to donate the good condition clothes or want to recycle to create new pieces of collection . My power mission is Enterprising, Empowerment, Environment sustainability . However, I'm still missing lots of thi...

Self pampered

This is my first facial after more than 5 years. After coming back from Japan, my skin was so dry and sensitive. Not sure what caused that either hormonal or make up kits or skin care, thus I decided to go for facial at my neighbour place. She's a professional beautician and set up home business. She told me that my skin barrier/ moisturiser was very low thus I got dry and sensitive skin, and she suggested to do hydro lock treatment to repair my skin barrier. After that she offered her products that she carried and I bought them to try which were serum and moisturiser. Hopefully my skin is getting better and looking forward to my next treatment next month.

Family BBQ day with Nikel

Yesterday our COO invited us for BBQ gathering at his house, he invited our spouses. It's really great to know each other's family better.

Phuket Photobook

After 8 months from our last trip to Phuket, finally I was able to create this Photobook. I really missed the time we had at Phuket, strolling, eating like there's no tomorrow.

Hari Raya and Kartini Day's Fridate (21 April 2023)

It's a fine Friday when my and hubby's workloads are in the lowest mode and very slow since all clients were having Golden week period (Hari Raya). We made use the time to spend quality time just the two of us. We started our day with going to gym together, then we had teppanyaki for lunch. After that we watched Netflix and caught Power Nap before attending ME Love Circle gathering. It's a fruitful day and I really enjoyed the quality time.

Birthday celebration with friends

I am grateful for the friendship that I have and they don't just remember my birthday but also celebrate my birthday. After my hectic business trip, I had opportunities to celebrate my birthday with close friends. On Saturday night, I and my close friend whose birthday is nearby mine planned to celebrate at Thai restaurant, impromptu decision, we changed our plan to have dinner together at JB. We drove there around 8pm and reaching around 9.30pm, had late dinner/supper at Lok Lok restaurant and I returned back to Singapore while they were still hanging around there. On Sunday noon, I had another celebration with breakfast club mommies. We talked everything under the sun about our planned holiday, kids and PSLE. It's a fruitful and good catch up with them. The next Sunday, I had another birthday celebration with another group of ladies at Thai restaurant and we had dessert after that.
