Yesterday, it was the revelation of what has happened in the past few days. My mom in law was still sick but recovering better. I was expecting another drama and only hope one day passes without any surprises. Then the reading was from  Sirach 4 : 11-19 It's like the answer from God about what has happened. Wisdom teaches her children and gives help to those who seek her. Whoever loves her loves life, and those who seek her from early morning are filled with joy. 2 days before departure, things don't turn to the better but for the worse. It's such an irony right in the human eyes. I and my husband have prayed as family yesterday to ask for God's mercy to heal his mom so that she's fit to travel today. But what happen today is the opposite. This morning after I finished cooking for the kids, I spend my time to pray and I tell God that He's the creator and my only hope and the only One I could trust and rely on. After I said those words and haven't finished my prayer or reading today's passage, I receive the call from my mom in law, she said that she couldn't come today because she's still not fit to travel. I was saying to myself, there's no better way for Satan to try to push myself down hahaha.... it's not the kind of prayer answer that I expected though. This coming Thursday, I and my husband will be going for pilgrimage to Holy Land. We have been praying and fasting since a month plus ago, during the past one month everything is going smooth and well, we plan everything to make sure that we have peace of mind during our pilgrimage trip. We make sure that everything is under our control. However, 3 days before our departure, things suddenly go out of control. We heard this morning that my mom in law who's supposed to come to Singapore tomorrow to take care our children was sick since last night. And from our conversation this evening, she's still not feeling well. On top of that, I have lots of lists to do, preparing the kids for the test next week when we are not there. This year we celebrated Valentine's day a little earlier and together with our sweet escape in Jakarta. We spent the time having lunch at our favourite restaurant Gyukaku, shopping and having tea time at St Marc. It's simply sweet and lovely spending time together without any interruption and distraction.

While we were in Jakarta, hubby decided to book a room for a night at Pullman Hotel. We spent our quality couple time together. Shopping - dining - movie date - drinking and making love. It's like when we were young, foolish and fall in love to each other.

On the second day of year of pig, we decided to have short getaway to Rancamaya Resort, Bogor. We booked a lagoon room which was next to the swimming pool. The room was spacious and can fit in 4 adults and 3 kids. They had many facilities and activities for family and kids. When we arrived in the afternoon, both hubby, our eldest son and me were swimming and it's so challenging swimming in the cold water. Then, we had dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel. The next day, we went to Taman Safari and kids were having lots of fun. And the last day before checking out, we spent exploring the activities inside the hotel facilities : feeding the deer, scootering, feeding the fish and strolling around. It's fun holiday and the kids were having blasts.
