Short Bangkok Trip - Early Birthday Celebration !

This year, we’ll be spending quite a bit on relocating our storage and renewing the COE for our car. That means we probably won’t have the chance to travel as much as we did in previous years. But I’m grateful that we could still enjoy a short trip to Bangkok for an early birthday celebration. While my husband was there for a business trip, I joined him for 3 days and 2 nights and had some precious  me time . Even though it was short, it felt refreshing and rejuvenating. I spent an afternoon wandering around Terminal 21 for some window shopping, then headed to CentralWorld to hunt for the items on my mom’s shopping list. At night, we enjoyed simple street food near the hotel and ended the day with a relaxing Thai massage. Sometimes, a short escape is all we need to recharge.

Happy 44th Birthday !

Happy 20th birthday… with 24 years of experience. That’s usually how I answer when people ask about my age 😄 Young at heart, but hopefully a little wiser and more grounded with time. This year’s birthday was simple, yet very meaningful. We celebrated a little earlier in Bangkok. Even though it was a very short trip, it felt refreshing and rejuvenating — just spending time together without thinking about routines, work, or the usual worries. On the day itself, we celebrated quietly with our close-knit family, especially meaningful since my parents were in town as well. This year still carries a lot of uncertainty. But I’m learning to stay grateful and hopeful for the future — especially for the business I’m currently nurturing. My prayer to God is simple: to give me the grace and strength to do His will, even when I don’t fully understand His plan yet… and to provide what this business needs along the way (yes, including self-storage and customers). Right now I feel like I’m standing a...

Indah's 43th Birthday celebration

This year, I celebrated my birthday in a simple and intimate way. My husband took a day of Work From Home just so he could spend quality time with me on my special day—something I truly cherish. The morning started with my usual gym routine, but it took an unexpected turn when I got a call from someone impersonating a DBS staff member. I had actually been expecting a call from a real DBS relationship manager, so it caught me off guard. Long story short, I managed to escape the scam—thankfully—but it did waste some time. Still, it taught me to be more compassionate toward people who fall victim to scams. It’s not always about being careless or foolish; sometimes it’s just bad timing and emotional manipulation at play. After that ordeal, we headed to Johor Bahru for a little refresh. We grabbed a quick lunch and stumbled upon a hidden gem—an authentic Vietnamese stall. We’re still missing Vietnam, so it was a nice little throwback. Loved the  banh mi  and  pho , but the spr...

Happy 43th Birthday Indah (2025)

This year, I celebrated my birthday in a simple and intimate way. I received two special birthday gifts: the first was the opportunity to travel to Vietnam with my beloved husband—an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, especially watching the candlelight concert together. This Vietnam trip reminded me of the beauty of living simply, staying humble, and being content. The past two years have been an emotional and professional roller coaster. I truly feel that God has been processing and molding me, especially in shaping my character. I ’ve learned to slow down, grow in empathy, accept what I cannot change or control, and embrace the journey—even when it doesn’t go according to my plans or expectations. I’ve also learned to simplify life and let go of unnecessary baggage—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I’m learning to be grateful and content, even in moments of lack. I choose to trust in God’s providence, even when I can’t yet see His plan. I’ve come to deeply appreciate...

Candlelight Concert

Hubby gave me a special birthday gift—a Candlelight concert experience at the Art House. The theme was a collection of ABBA and Queen songs, and we were familiar with almost every tune. I truly enjoyed the performance, featuring two violins, a viola, and a cello. Despite the small ensemble, they created breathtaking masterpieces. After the concert, we strolled around Boat Quay, reminiscing about the good old days. Thank you for a beautiful and unforgettable night!

7th Business trip to Jakarta (22 - 26 April 2024)

Another business trip for event, we had signed the deal with one of the biggest aggregator in Indonesia and had an inauguration ceremony with them. Thus that my main purpose travelling to Jakarta - Bandung. And I also celebrated my birthday with my in laws family in Hai Seafood restaurant. It's a great catch up with them when we had a lot of travelling stories to tell. I really treasure these moments after one of our beloved aunt passed away on March 24th.
