This was hubby's first business trip to Germany and Romania, where he accompanied his clients to meet the manufacturers and visit the headquarters. The trip went smoothly overall, except for a brief scare when one of the clients nearly lost their passport—it was accidentally left on the previous flight. Thankfully, it was quickly recovered and didn’t disrupt the overall schedule. Despite two months of careful planning, there was an unfortunate experience with one of the manufacturers. They seemed to underestimate the importance of the visit and did not offer a proper welcome, which left a poor impression on the clients. Thankfully, this didn’t affect hubby’s relationship with them, as he went above and beyond in providing hospitality and ensuring they were well taken care of. This was my last business trip, which also served as a leisure getaway. Instead of being sponsored by my company, it was generously covered by my husband. He had his own business commitments and events to attend, so we traveled together. We took the morning flight with Singapore Airlines. Upon arriving in Jakarta, we checked into our hotel and enjoyed a light breakfast at the Executive Lounge. I spent the day in meetings until the evening, while my husband attended an event elsewhere. I met my current colleagues to say goodbye and gave him personalised thank you cards and some of them gave me farewell gift too. We spent our time together relaxing and enjoying the hotel's amenities on Saturday and Sunday. We also had lunch at Gyukaku, reminiscing about the good old days. It was a sweet and brief couples' weekend. On Monday, I flew back first while my husband continued his business trip.

Every good thing comes to an end. This is my last business trip with Nikel and I want to make it memorable in the good way. 1. Meeting old and nice friends and acquaintance 2. Eating and staying at my favourite Hotel as my 2nd home in Jakarta 3. Having dinner with my parents in law 4. Attending Digibank summit, connecting with new people 5. Taking "Business class" and book 1st row seat 6. Self care (massage and creambath) Thanks God for everything, eventhough I have bitter sweet feeling but I am so grateful in the past one year, able to travel, meet new people, strangers become friends especially with the hotel staff, hair saloon and massage place.

The past two years have been the toughest of my career, leading to significant personal growth. Over the last 18 months, I’ve been fighting alone—hunting for clients, advocating for them, navigating internal management struggles, and standing up for myself. I hoped things would improve with the arrival of a new commercial head, but unfortunately, my expectations weren’t met. During a quarterly company gathering, management presented our achievements and targets for Q3, but their goals felt vague and unrealistic. Staying true to my character, I spoke up in front of the entire team, allowing my emotions to take over, which backfired. I found myself in a difficult situation, facing the new commercial head in front of my CEO and teammates. I was frustrated because he preferred to work independently rather than foster teamwork. My last business trip to Indonesia has been great as I went to two different cities giving a financial talk and able to explore new city which is Lombok. Lombok is an island next to Bali, but it's more laid back and nature than Bali. The people are warm and not crowded, reminding me of Langkawi Island. I visited Senggigi beach, ever famous beach before and Bukit Merese for the sunset view. And the best thing is I stayed at my relative's villa where there's private pool inside and it's complimentary.
