It’s been a while since I last wrote on this blog. So here I am again. 😊 As we closed the August chapter and started a new page in September, I wanted to document a little memory from hubby’s birthday. We celebrated it in a very simple way. Nothing fancy, just spending time with the people we care about and love. Hubby took the day off, and after sending the kids to school, we headed to Johor Bahru. We had dim sum for breakfast while waiting for our car to be washed. After that, we went to Plentong for some pickleball and did a one-hour drill with the ball machine. Just the two of us, doing something we both enjoy. We then had a quick lunch at AEON Mall before heading back to Singapore. I had an evening class, while hubby needed to accompany our youngest for his pickleball training in the afternoon. Yesterday, we enjoyed a luncheon celebration for my hubby and Trom, together with the kids’ godparents and our godchildren. It was our last big get-together before PSLE kicks off next Wednesday — the pressure is on! We chose Haidilao, our go-to spot for a hearty and communal meal.  

One year older, one year wiser… Happy blessed birthday, hubby. May God bless you with good health, a long life, and deep peace. May He guide your path with His wisdom and Holy Spirit, and fill your days with love, joy, hope, meaningful purpose, and prosperity. We kept the celebration simple—no fancy dining, just meaningful moments together. The day started with a fun game of pickleball with friends, followed by a short trip to JB for lunch, massage, dinner, and a bit of grocery shopping. We ended the day with a sweet candle-blowing moment at home with the kids.

As we were occupied with house renovations, we didn’t plan a couples’ trip this year. Instead, we went to the neighboring country, JB, to eat, change a tire, and run errands. We had a simple celebration at home with the kids, which, while different from the past two years, was still meaningful as we enjoyed quality time together. Happy birthday, hubby! May God grant your wishes, guide you with His wisdom, and provide for all your needs.

This is the highlight of hubby's 40th birthday, we had a short gateway to Langkawi for 4 days 3 nights. We took Scoot flight on Sunday afternoon and reached there around dinner time. Our room got upgraded to Junior suite and his Accor membership card was upgraded to Gold member, it's such a coincidence and it happened on his birthday. And our room number is 805 which is the mirror of his birth date. After checking in, we had seafood dinner by the beach at Bamboo Chenang while watching Fire show. On the next day, we had plan for mangrove exploring in the afternoon. The weather was not friendly in the morning, it's pouring the whole morning. Thanks God, it's cleared up by 1pm so we could enjoy our excursion. We visited bat cave, fish farm, mangrove exploration and finish it with late lunch at floating restaurant.
