Summer Couple trip to Langkawi (6 - 9 Aug 2023)

This is the highlight of hubby's 40th birthday, we had a short gateway to Langkawi for 4 days 3 nights.
We took Scoot flight on Sunday afternoon and reached there around dinner time.

Our room got upgraded to Junior suite and his Accor membership card was upgraded to Gold member, it's such a coincidence and it happened on his birthday. And our room number is 805 which is the mirror of his birth date.

After checking in, we had seafood dinner by the beach at Bamboo Chenang while watching Fire show.

On the next day, we had plan for mangrove exploring in the afternoon. The weather was not friendly in the morning, it's pouring the whole morning. Thanks God, it's cleared up by 1pm so we could enjoy our excursion.

We visited bat cave, fish farm, mangrove exploration and finish it with late lunch at floating restaurant.
We had so much fun on the second day at Langkawi.

On the 3rd day, we planned to go to Sky bridge and sky cab to have bird's view of Langkawi, unfortunately it was pouring so we detoured to crocodile park.

Thanks God, it's cleared up in the afternoon so we could have jetski island hopping tour for 4 hours.
We loved this adventure, blending with nature, swimming in the salt lake water, watching eagle feeding, crushing the wave.

In the evening, we had romantic seafood dinner by the sea and had ice chendol for dessert before returning  back to hotel.

We catch morning flight back to Singapore on National Day and had privilege to take pictures with Scoot's air crew.

It's a refreshing getaway for both of us.

Jubilee Year - Year of Hope (2025)

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar. It is also the year I plan to embark on a new venture: starting a winter rental business. This endeavor excites me but is fraught with challenges. There are countless pieces of the puzzle yet to be solved, and I pray for wisdom and the support of "ordinary angels" to guide me through. This is also a pivotal year for our family. Two of our children will face major exams. While I know the journey matters more than the results, I hope they develop s...

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.
