Birthday Trip to Vietnam - Hanoi (Cafe hopping)

We spent our  last day in Hanoi  doing what we love most— café hopping ! The day started with a local breakfast of  Banh Cuon , a soft steamed rice roll filled with minced pork and mushrooms, quite similar to  chee cheong fun  but with its own Vietnamese twist. Light yet flavorful—perfect to kick off the morning. Next, we visited  Café Giang , the birthplace of the famous  egg coffee . Rich, creamy, and unlike any coffee we've had before—it’s a must-try when in Hanoi. Our last café stop was  The Note Coffee , a cozy and cheerful little spot decorated from floor to ceiling with colorful  sticky notes  left by visitors from all over the world. Their  iced coconut coffee  was refreshing and delicious—definitely a highlight. Since our hotel was located near  Train Street , we couldn’t resist visiting it multiple times— three to be exact!  We even had dinner there one evening, enjoying the thrill of the train zooming by ju...

Last date and meal in 2023

It's been a great year after all the ups and downs. As I pondered and reflected there are more wins than lose. I am so grateful for  1. Hubby who fully supports me and family 2. Kids who are unique and responsible in their own way and obedient and love God 3. Parents who are still healthy, together and support us in the way they could 4. Siblings who are still healthy and prosper 5. Friends in Christ who are praying together with us  6. Mbak Erna, our helper who's joyful serving our family with love and joy 7. Jobs where God provide us materially and how we grow as a person and for me even though there are some agonies in the past 8 months, I discover the true value that important for me which is family first, works second 8. Travel and holiday that have been going well and smooth so far from Jakarta, Holy Land, Japan, Malaysia 9. Good health even though I had frozen shoulder and my body fats have been increasing so far, thanks God I am still alive and can exercise 10. Faith, ...

Beautiful in White Saturdate - Lovely December

Even though we had our weekly couple time over lok2, but it's been quite sometimes that we dressed up and going for proper date. So we set a date that we want to dress up nicely and had a nice date at Winstone. The theme is beautiful in white haha.. We spent 4 hours in the restaurant, talking about how we have done so far as parents and celebrating the moment after we saw how our eldest son has grown up well so far. It's a thanksgiving date and we had so much fun and enjoyed each other companion.

Fridate - back to 1960's office

It's been quite sometimes that both of us work from home and yesterday was a special since both of us able to work from home. It's quite a productive day. We exercised in the morning, worked, went to Lunch mass, bought school books and in the late afternoon had early light dinner at Bing Tang Tang Shui. A new cafe with 1960's office style concept, it's a dessert and snack shop sells old school style. Apparently, it's just the two of us only so we could explore and take the pictures as much as we can. The food is good, the portion is just nice and the price still make sense however the location is a bit out of reach unless you have your own car and specially going there for dessert and experience. Nevertheless, we had fun there !
