Family trip to Holyland - Day 12 back to Jakarta (8 June 2023)

Our flight was 6.30pm in the evening Jordan time and arrived at Dubai around 10pm. We had 5 hours in transit and the kids were so sleepy and they slept at the airport bench while waiting for the next flight bound to Jakarta. Finally we departed around 3.30am in the morning and arrived at Jakarta around 4pm as there's time difference between Dubai and Jakarta. Thanks God for the smooth sailing flight and all the providence during our pilgrimage trip. It's just a beginning of our faith journey but by God's providence and grace we are able to walk together with God.

Family trip to Holyland - Day 11 Jordan - Petra (7 June 2023)

This is our last day in Jordan and ends of our pilgrimage trip. We went to visit Petra, the Rose city, one of the seven wonder of ancient worlds. It's amazing to see how they carved the giant rocks as luxurious tombs for the kings or wealthy men and buried all the treasures and precious stones there. We walked for around 2 hours to reach the treasury place and walked back for another 1.5 hours to reach to our bus station.

Family trip to Holyland Day 10 - Israel to Jordan bus ride (6 June 2023)

In the morning before our bus ride trip to Jordan, we visited Church of Annunciations and Church of St Joseph and Old Nazareth town. As it's early in the morning, there is only our group arriving at the church. Church of Annunciation is the biggest basilica at Middle East area We also visited Church of St Joseph which was located one stone away. The church was much more simple than Church of Annunciation. And we went in to the basement which was believed where Jesus and his family stayed and worked in the past 30 years of his life. Then we went to the Israel/Jordan border and it took around 1 hour to clear the immigration. We had lunch at local food restaurant then we visited Mount Nero where Moses final resting place as he only could see the promised land but unable to enter physically. After that we stopped by at Mosaic workshop which was Jordan's handmade art and craft of mosaic.

Family trip to Holyland (28 May - 8 June 2023)

It's been our dream to bring our kids and parents to go to Holyland. My ultimate intentions are to bring my mom who's been wanting to go to Holyland since more than 10 years ago and through us we answered her prayer and desire, in addition I also want to let my dad know about Jesus that He's a true God and He's truly alive not some kinda of story fiction that's made up. I just hope that after this Holyland trip, he has a great desire to know more about Jesus, follow Him and wants to be baptised. As for hubby, his great desire is to present our kids to God so that our kids can grow their faith, love God more and have great desire to put God first and follow Him till the end of time. We prepared this trip 3 months and it's all by God's providence that we could get the Father to be our shepherd and other participants to fulfil minimum number of participants. We prayed hard and do abstinence and fasting for these trips to make it successful and we are really gra...

Unboxing Holy Land Photobook

This is to wrap up for our first ever pilgrimage journey to Holy Land. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the book, printing and delivery process. Photobook Singapore is really recommended service. "Five gospels record the life of Jesus. Four gospels you will find in books, and the one you will find in the land they call HOLY. Read the fifth gospel and the world of four will open to you." ~ St Jerome ~

Crucification (Holy Land Trips 1 March 2019)

When we landed at Abu Dhabi airport in the morning, I asked my mom how's my dad now. Instead of comfort, she told me that my dad's condition getting worse and now our second son started to vomit, had no appetite and run on fever. We stopped over at Abu Dhabi for 4 hours, so we could take shower and have breakfast at lounge. As I was still thinking about home, I had less appetite despite delicious breakfast spread at lounge. Our next flight was at 11am and it took 3 hours plus to Amman, Jordan. inside the plane  simple breakfast relaxing at lounge Arriving at Jordan in the afternoon, I received another not so good news that our third son started to vomit also, run on fever and last but not least, my mom started to feel sick also. I was so helpless and powerless when I told my hubby about it. Then my hubby told me, if things got worse, he would fly back to Singapore and I carried on with the journey. Puzzled with his decision, I just kept quiet because...
