Happy 18th Wedding Anniversary

Eighteen years of marriage is neither a short nor a long journey, but it has been filled with countless memories, challenges, laughter, and blessings. We have walked through life's highs and lows together, and every season has shaped us into who we are today. We are incredibly grateful that after 18 years, we still love each other just as deeply as when we first met. Our love has changed over the years—not because it has grown weaker, but because it has grown deeper, stronger, and more mature. As we grow older, we also become wiser. There are moments when we annoy each other, disagree, or face difficult seasons. Yet, looking back, those moments were not meant to break us—they were meant to refine us. They taught us patience, forgiveness, humility, and unconditional love. Above all, we are constantly reminded that our first and foremost vocation is to be a godly husband and wife, helping each other grow closer to Christ. Our second calling is to be godly parents, guiding our childre...

Happy 17th Wedding Anniversary Celebration !

We celebrated our wedding anniversary over three wonderful days! Friday  was our couple date. We started the day with a fun game of pickleball at the court just below our home—free, unlimited play, and a great workout! After that, we had lunch at  Pizz@  in Johor Bahru. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the host was warm and welcoming. While I indulged in a relaxing massage, my husband caught up on some work as he patiently waited for   me to finish. That evening, we drove back to Singapore with smooth traffic, just in time to attend the  Bulletproof Marriage  talk by Paul Kim. It was a great refresher and affirmation that we’ve been walking the right path in our marriage. We ended the night with supper and renewed our marriage covenant—what a meaningful close to the day. We’re incredibly grateful for this simple celebration. No fancy restaurants, no glamorous outfits, and maybe not the most "Instagrammable" content—but it was filled with genui...

17th Wedding Anniversary - Back to basic vocation !

As our marriage turns 17 this year, I’d like to take this moment to reflect on the journey we’ve shared—and how it is only by God’s grace that we’ve been able to walk this path together. We started with nothing. Slowly, we built our home, our careers, and what little wealth we now have. God entrusted us with three beautiful boys. With minimal help from our parents, we raised and nurtured them on our own. Now, as they grow, we begin to see the fruits slowly blooming. This year, we celebrated simply—no fancy dinners, no fashionable outfits. Just the two of us enjoying each other’s company. Sometimes, less truly is more. No pressure to be “Instagrammable”—and yes, budgeting played a part too. Since I’m no longer working and not contributing financially, we have to be more mindful about our spending. In the past few months, I’ve struggled with discouragement. I couldn’t secure a job, and even the business I poured myself into has yet to show results. I felt like a failure, filled with self...

Marriage Renewal

The Church of the Holy Cross recently celebrated its 45th anniversary with an exciting program, including a Marriage Renewal Vow ceremony for couples. We attended the mass, where we renewed our vows in the presence of our children and my mom, followed by a delightful lunch provided by the church. During the ceremony, we were inspired by a couple celebrating an incredible 69 years of marriage. Both looked great and clearly still in love. We also saw couples who had been together for 64 and 58 years. They serve as our marriage goals: to remain in love and faithful to each other throughout our lives. It’s a testament to how a strong, happy relationship can be a true anti-aging secret, even amidst modern technology. The greatest gift we can give our children is a solid example of a loving marriage.

Happy 16th years Anniversary

Today, we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. Even amidst my career struggles, I’m committed to being grateful for all that God has done in our marriage over the past 16 years. I remind myself that these challenges are here to teach me valuable life lessons—perseverance, endurance, grit, empathy, and gratitude. No matter what situation I find myself in, I trust that He never leaves me alone. We enjoyed a quick lunch at Bedrock Origin to celebrate some wins. The steak was excellent, though it definitely came with a price tag! Happy Anniversary ! May God's love always unite us and help us to go through all the turbulences in our life. We were celebrated during cell group with other young couples.

New Adventure - our 15 years Anniversary Celebration !

We are celebrating our 15th years anniversary something different than usual. We started our day with Wakeboarding and Wakesurfing. This is our first time learning this and it's fun, eventhough I injured my left arms, overall I enjoyed it. It's not easy for first timer but hubby was able to do it and enjoyed the ride. Then we had a hearty lunch at Winestone using our voucher so it's really worth it. Tired from morning activity, we went back home to have a Power Nap then we went to church for thanksgiving prayer as our gratitude and ask for the grace so that we can continue our marriage journey and always support one another.
