We are incredibly grateful that after 18 years, we still love each other just as deeply as when we first met. It was our last day in Bangkok before flying back to Singapore, and it also happened to be our  18th Wedding Anniversary . We wanted to celebrate it somewhere memorable, so we decided to visit one of Bangkok's most unique restaurants— Cabbages & Condoms , located in Sukhumvit. We arrived just in time for lunch. The restaurant was established to promote awareness of family planning and help prevent unwanted pregnancies. As its name suggests, almost everything inside is decorated with condoms—from lamps and flower arrangements to mannequins dressed in colourful condom outfits. Thankfully, the only thing  not  made from condoms was the food! 😄 Despite its quirky concept, the restaurant serves authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our Bangkok trip. I've always wanted to have a close encounter with elephants in a place that truly prioritises their welfare, allowing visitors to interact with them in a safe and respectful environment. The day before, I booked a half-day morning excursion to Bangkok Elephant Park. I was picked up from the hotel at around 7.30 a.m., and after about an hour's drive, we arrived at the sanctuary. The programme began at 9.45 a.m., and we were each given a traditional top to wear for the activities. We started with a short introduction about the elephants and the sanctuary's mission. Many of the elephants had been rescued from industries where they were exploited for logging, elephant rides, and circus performances.
