First Wedding of Year 2025

Our best friend was getting married! We had known the bride for 4.5 years, since the pandemic, and our friendship had grown stronger over time. We were honored to witness her journey as she finally found someone special, who is now her husband. It was a privilege to be part of their love story by standing by their side as groomsman and bridesmaid. We flew to Jakarta on Friday morning, spent the day fitting our dresses, and had dinner with friends, eagerly anticipating the big day on Saturday. The next morning started early—around 2:30 a.m. We got ready with makeup and dresses, joined the bride for a beauty shoot, participated in the gate crash, and finally headed to the church for the Sacrament of Matrimony. In the evening, the celebrations continued with a lively reception, followed by an unforgettable after-party. The day was more than just a wedding; it was a joyful celebration of the beginning of a lifetime journey together. We wish the couple nothing but the very best in their mar...

Friendship - sisterhood

We first met this young lady in 2019 during our inaugural Holy Land pilgrimage trip. Although we lost touch afterward, we reconnected in 2020 at the celebration of our mutual friend's baptism. Since then, our friendship has grown, and we've shared many memorable moments together with our other mutual friends, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restrictions brought us closer, as we frequently met to celebrate various occasions, from birthdays and graduations to Christmas, New Year’s, and even traveling together. Soon, she will be returning to Indonesia for good to embark on the next chapter of her life: getting married and settling down with her fiancé. We are truly grateful to have met her. Despite occasional misunderstandings, she has remained one of our closest friends. This week, we organized a farewell party with our other girlfriends and prayer meeting team to celebrate her and wish her well. We wish her nothing but the very best as she steps into this exciting n...

Thanksgiving night with friends

It's been a while we had catch up with our close friends "Malam Minggu Bernama" since post covid so to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, we had dinner at Timbre over pizza and music. Unfortunately before we took a group picture, some already left so we only had this five of us staying behind until midnight.

First 9 days Petition journey - 54 days novena

I would like to write what messages I received from God through my senses, experience, nature, and people. Day 1 - 1 October 2023 The day I started my novena. I was burst to tears during the Sunday mass especially when I saw our oldest son holding the cross during the entrance procession. I was burst to tears second time when I saw our second son accompanied the priest for offering and delivered the wine and water during offering liturgy. And last burst during communion when I received the body of Christ.  I didn't know the meaning because it's just happened like that and the tears just stop by itself. I guess it's the work of Holy Spirit to give me grace and by watching my kids, they are my strength during this novena journey. In the evening, I had dinner in our favourite Thai restaurant and shared with hubby what I felt. His advice is only one to be grateful and try to think something everyday what I am grateful for. Day 2 - 2 October 2023 (Feast of Guarding Angel) When I...
