Indah's 43th Birthday celebration

This year, I celebrated my birthday in a simple and intimate way.

My husband took a day of Work From Home just so he could spend quality time with me on my special day—something I truly cherish.

The morning started with my usual gym routine, but it took an unexpected turn when I got a call from someone impersonating a DBS staff member. I had actually been expecting a call from a real DBS relationship manager, so it caught me off guard.

Long story short, I managed to escape the scam—thankfully—but it did waste some time. Still, it taught me to be more compassionate toward people who fall victim to scams. It’s not always about being careless or foolish; sometimes it’s just bad timing and emotional manipulation at play.

After that ordeal, we headed to Johor Bahru for a little refresh. We grabbed a quick lunch and stumbled upon a hidden gem—an authentic Vietnamese stall. We’re still missing Vietnam, so it was a nice little throwback. Loved the banh mi and pho, but the spring rolls weren’t really our thing 😄

In the evening, we had a cozy family dinner with our boys at our favorite spot—Hai Di Lao. It was such a sweet way to celebrate with them.

On Sunday, I got to spend some much-needed quality time with one of my girlfriends who’s known me and my journey for years. We visited “Little Vietnam” in the Joo Chiat area, had deep conversations about life, career, relationships, and spirituality, and she even prayed for me and my new venture.

So grateful to God for the beautiful gift of love and friendship in my life. 💛

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.
