Discovering Passion

I call it blessings in disguise

Through the sufferings, God reveals His will and shows the way to hubby.

It's all started early this year when my hubby was jogging, suddenly he received God's wisdom that told him his new tasks to mentor and coach our children as He has provided our finance by giving me the new job.

It was fulfilled in the way we didn't expect.

On July, we attended Parents Teacher's Meeting and almost all the teachers commented that our elder has not been focusing in class and his results were under expectation eventhough he has the ability to achieve more.

It's a wake up call for hubby, he decided to focus his energy and time to teach, nurture and coach him. He has 3 months to make everything right.

3 weeks before exam, he did abstinence with 3 rounds of novena praying for our son's exam. It's such as sacrificial love from him as he never done it before. 

The results were out and he managed to make it right, however the blessing doesn't stop there.

He discovered his passion in teaching something that I found he has the charism of it.

I am happy for him and will support him in prayer as well as moral support.

The journey just began, but I believe if we walk together with God, He will unveiled His plans one step at a time.

As for me and my house will serve you Lord

Finally, I’ve joined the boys in serving at the Eucharist. It’s not my time, but His time. Two of the communion ministers were unable to serve on Sunday morning and requested to move to the Saturday sunset Mass. This left the group leader looking for replacements — and he thought of me, knowing that my hubby has been serving at Mass for 10 years. I said “yes” to the invitation, and so began my journey: the commissioning Mass on 3rd August, a Day of Recollection on 9th August, and my very first duty on 10th August. It is such a privilege to offer Jesus, in the Body of Christ, to His sheep. As I looked into the eyes of each parishioner receiving the Body of Christ, I saw so many different expressions. My prayer is that this gift of the Body of Christ will strengthen them in their journey, whatever season of life they are in.

What to do when you don't know what to do

I’ve been absent from writing the blog for quite a while, as I felt there wasn’t any story worth sharing. But today, I want to share something that happened in August. For some time, I had been waiting and praying, asking God to show me whether I should persevere with this winter rental business. I often felt that all my efforts were in vain, and I had reached the end of my wits, unsure of what else to do. In my prayer, I asked God specifically for a sign: if there was even just one try-on appointment in August, it would mean that He still blesses this business and that it remains aligned with His plan.
