This is our impromptu date after hubby finished badminton and last night before lockdown. At first, we wanted to eat steak at Foster house, after seeing the pricelist, we decided to visit there other time with special occasion.
Then, walking through the alley, we found this cosy restaurant called Heirloom. They have one for one drink promotion and the service manager explained and recommended a few meals. The price is reasonable so we decided to try the food.
We ordered steak and sausage platter and turned out perfect.
I personally loved the sausage platter, it's really unique and homemade. The portion was just nice to share for two people. The taste was not so strong and pure without any fillers.
As for the steak, it's melted in the mouth and enhanced with caramelized onion on top.
The beer was from the tap so it's refreshing and smooth.
The most memorable part was the service staff, they were so warm and asking our feedback and we felt so cosy and homey there.
Definitely one of the places that we will visit after lock down.
It's a great night to close the week before lockdown.
