This wisdom suddenly strucks me today when I was having exercise this morning at Gym. This powerful message makes me grateful for the past 10 years how God is our sole provider. Back to 10 years ago, when we decided to get married, considered very young age we made a leap of faith with no savings in our hands. We had very simple wedding in the church followed by luncheon to celebrate it with our family and friends there. And to cover those expenses, I used my whole small savings. To buy our first simple apartment, his parents lent us the money for deposit which we always considered it as a loan and kept in our mind that someday when we had material blessings, we will return it to his parents. In short, we started with nothing. After we get married, we planned to work - carving out our career for 2 - 3 years while saving some money to start family. However, God's plan is not our plan, after 6 months, He planted the seed of life in my womb and I was no longer working ...

I wrote this story on behalf my hubby. I was also grateful for him to be able to bless and bring one soul to see the truth and light through him. This happened in his office, there's a gentleman who's different division with him but this person has no friends. His direct manager and colleagues always make difficult for him. When he just started work on the first day, no one welcome him and he had nobody to bring him for lunch. Until he met my hubby. They always go for lunch together and my hubby was his listening ears and he loved to hear the wisdom from my hubby too eventhough he's much older than my hubby. Long short story, God leverage His blessing through my hubby which he got sales order quite a big sum through my hubby, but in the end his direct manager was still not happy and not convinced. Last Saturday we went to National Gallery and while both our first and second ones were playing and exploring the galleries and the youngest one was sleeping so we decided to have coffee break at National Gallery cafe and enjoy the ambience and companion of each other.

Yesterday we watched Paul the apostle movie, rented from itunes. I am not sure if some events really happened in real life last time or it’s just to spice up the movie but there are many things that I took after watching that movie 1. God’s way is not our way, God’s time is not our time 2. Love is the only Way 3. God’s grace is sufficient enough 4. Nothing impossible for God, He can change the heart of man and use the man to be His instrument to spread the love

I’ve never been interested in Art Gallery before until an encounter that happened yesterday at National Gallery 3rd level. I was intrigued by one of the posters placed in front of art gallery, I was curious what was inside and decided to give it a go. There were many artworks and most of them were paintings and each painting was with the description about what the artist’s tools, the description and feeling. Until I saw this painting. When I went to come closer to see the details, I was so amazed that with only strokes of different colors that sometimes the mixture was not making sense but when I walked further from the painting I saw the whole Picture and it’s so beautiful. Life without laugh is like food without salt. We love to have fun and laugh more. Teasing our partner, creating jokes even though sometimes it's dirty jokes, really spicing up our marriage life. And our kids also follow suits, they love to make a joke and tease each other. Sometimes watching them laughing out loud is priceless moment for us as parents.

Communication is the blood and water in the relationship. Without proper communication, there always be misunderstanding, conflict, cold war and in severe case end up with separation. As we are adopting open and honest communication, we also experience challenges in communication either with our partner or the kids. Both of us are reserved  persons and peace lovers, we prefer to avoid conflict instead of facing it. Well, it can be good and bad. The good thing is we are not so sensitive over trivial matter but the bad thing is we have tendency to keep it in our heart and it can be a time bomb that can burst anytime. When we are in conflict or disagreement, we like to talk about it privately and not in front of the kids. We prefer to settle it at night time after the kids are asleep.
