Taba (Holy Land Trips 8 March 2019)

After leaving Israel, we continued our journey to South Sinai, Egypt and transited at Taba for a night  before going to Mount Sinai the next day. We stayed at Tolip Resort in Red Sea shores. The resort's view was incredible eventhough it's out of nowhere in the middle of the desert.

The Oldest City in the World (Holy Land Trips 7 March 2019)

The night before we visited Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Jericho is mentioned few times in bible.  Before Jesus began his ministry, He went to the desert for fasting and praying and tempted by the Evil at Mount of Temptation. In the foot of Mount of Temptation, there's a real temptation for us which was a souvenir shop. Nearby, there's Elisha Spring and Jericho walls. Elisha Spring ruined Jericho walls Elisha Spring is the water spring that has been sprinkled by salt by Elisha to give life to the people surround that area. The Lowest Point on Earth (Holy Land Trips 7 March 2019)

This is finally Davin's dream come true. He's been looking forward to tick his bucket list : Floating in the dead sea. Finally, he's able to tick it. We arrived in the morning and it's so quiet, the place was empty and just for us. Indeed because of the high salt concentration, we could float in the dead sea. We also can use the black mud at the dead sea bed for body and face masks. However, we were not encouraged to stay there more than 15 minutes. It's a great and once in a life time experience !

Old City of Jerusalem (Holy Land Trips 6 March 2019)

Finally we managed to take picture of the Holy City of Jerusalem where the Temple Mount was. Previously it's the Synagogue built by Solomon King and Herod King and now it became mosque and this area was still in dispute between Christian, Jewish and Moslem. Here's the preview of the holy city from Mount Olives. old city of Jerusalem In the afternoon, we had an opportunity to enter this Holy Place area which Wailing Wall and Western Tunnel were. Wailing Wall is the most sacred place for Jewish where they pray and still expecting Messiah to come. Western Tunnel is the underground tunnel which is the foundation of Second synagogue built by King Herod.

Via Dolorosa (Holy Land Trips 6 March 2019)

That day was Ash Wednesday and we had privilege to celebrate Ash Wednesday at Church of Condemnation and had The Station of the Cross Via Dolorosa with last station at Church of Holy Sepulchre where Jesus was laid down in His final rest. the place where Jesus cross was the slab where He was laid  Jesus tomb in front of Jesus tomb We also visited Bethesda Pool and St Anne Church where Mother Mary lived during her childhood. St Anne's church inside St Anne's church the grotto where Mother Mary spent her childhood Bethesda Pool We also visited the Upper Room where Jesus had last supper with His disciples, next to it was the King of David's tomb where now become synagogue and prayer place for Jewish.
