8 hours

I thank God for His protection during our trip to neighbour country and the best thing I could ever thankful is  8 hours journey  long from Singapore to JB. I know that everything happens for a reason and as we have expected there will be traffic jam, we still go ahead with the plan. However, beyond what happened, God taught me a lot of things during the 8 hours journey 1. Start Early   We planned to leave home during sunrise, my bad, I was overslept. After morning preparation we left home around 8am, 1 hour late from the scheduled timing. And guess what, that's where everybody started leaving house as well so the jam couldn't be avoided. Our travel companion left 2 hours earlier than us and they took 5.5 hours journey to reach the destination. Lesson learned : Start early so that we can arrive to the destination earlier.  And it applies to every aspect in life either career, job, family, health, wealth accumulation. The earlier we start, the earlie...

Happy 36th Born Day, Hubby !

What a well-spent Monday celebrating his born day. We started our day with celebrating our second's son birthday in school. Then we had 2 hours of quality couple time. We had brunch at Shabu Sai, his favourite shabu shabu place then in the evening we celebrated intimately with our little family at Nihon Mura Sushi. Happy blessed birthday hubby ! Thank you for being my soulmate, my partner in everything, my advisor, supporter and mentor. May God bless you abundantly with wisdom, courage, humility and love

Steel in Love for 11 Years (5 July 2019)

This year marks our 11 years together as husband and wife. It's steel Anniversary. My hubby jokingly said for the past 11 years, our family was funded by steel industry where my hubby is still working in that industry. We have seen how God's hand and His providence are always with us. In human calculation, we don't have any much savings, we don't have any other properties. However, we are never in desperation. God always provide whatever we need comfortably. We still can go travelling, we still able to have good food, our children still have good education. And the important thing is our love is still strong and the same as we were 11 years ago. That's why we always remember this verse that was from our reading during sacrament matrimony. We celebrated in simple and intimate way as little family. We had dinner at our favourite restaurant : Brio Then on Saturday during our cell group, our cell group friends gave us a sweet surprise. We a...

Our Role Models in Marriage

Like what our friend ever said, in marriage life we need a role model that is close to us. We cannot have role model that's unreachable and untouchable so after pondering, it came to my mind that our role model in marriage are our parents. Yesterday was my parent's 38th anniversary and I did some reflection and pondering about what they have done during past 38 years. I came not from rich family, during my childhood and teens life, financial has been  the main struggle. My dad hold no proper job and my mom is a stay at home mom. However, from those challenges, I came to learn few things 1. God provides !  Even though our life is up and down, sometimes we face uncertainty and fear for tomorrow but God always provides and we survive until now 2. Be Faithful My mom has 101 reason to leave my dad because of the insecurity that my dad offers. However, she chose to stand by at my dad, yes they fight but they don't leave each other behind 3. Perseveranc...

Tips to go to China (Summer Holiday June 2019)

It's such a great learning experience for me and my family. China has been progressing and advancing in very fast pace beyond my expectations except people's attitude  😜 😜 Most of the road are wide and have 4 lanes (3 lanes for cars and 1 lane for bikes and scooter) unfortunately the most dangerous ones are the bikes and scooter because they don't follow traffic rules especially in the junction and most of them seldom honking so we only can hear the tyre screeching few meters from us  🤦🏼‍♀️ When we think that Singapore has advanced, China has surpassed us.  Tips for family with young children to go to China without joining tour 1. Rent portable wifi with VPN from Changi airport or if you prefer roaming on, make sure you have installed VPN before arriving in China 2. Install google translate before hand it will help us to communicate with the locals 3. Cash is still the king,  Most of the shops are using alipay and WeChat payment but we need to...
