Little Things That Matter ....

Marriage is considered a leap of faith and one of great milestones in someone's life.
So we took it seriously, we searched our vendors thoroughly, comparing the prices, the qualities, the reviews from the forum.

We chose our theme to be white, champagne and lime green.
So from our wedding invitation cards, souvenirs, church mass booklet and other accessories, we use these color theme.

Our wedding invitation cards was designed by my brother and we printed them out in Jakarta. We invited almost 350 people in total.
Since we met because of music, we used piano and flower to symbolise our first meeting on the front cover and our courtship favourite song lyric "Faithfully" as back cover.

Besides, my brother also helped to design and print the church mass booklet. We chose the reading and songs ourselves with Father's approval.
Our first reading was from John 15, I Am The Vine and You Are The Branches. This reading reminds us to always abide in God so that our life always be fruitful and become blessings to other people surrounding
Our second reading was from Ephesian 5, Submission in the Christian Household.
The reading advises us how to become a Godly husband and wife.

In addition, my mom helped to search and purchase the bible, wedding rosary and wedding candles in Semarang that would be blessed during the mass and used as a reminder to always put God first in everything especially our family life.

Our souvenir was a towel embroidered our name and the date of our wedding. We chose towel for practical reason since everyone was able to use it and remembered our big day.
My mom also helped to source for them at Semarang.

Jubilee Year - Year of Hope (2025)

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar. It is also the year I plan to embark on a new venture: starting a winter rental business. This endeavor excites me but is fraught with challenges. There are countless pieces of the puzzle yet to be solved, and I pray for wisdom and the support of "ordinary angels" to guide me through. This is also a pivotal year for our family. Two of our children will face major exams. While I know the journey matters more than the results, I hope they develop s...

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.
