Affirmation of God's providence and timing

This morning, I woke up feeling less energetic than usual.

Still, I pushed myself to do at least 30 minutes of cardio while watching a sermon on YouTube.

After finishing my cardio, I was tempted to do just one upper body exercise and call it a day—but that didn’t happen. Instead, I ended up completing four sets. Then, I noticed the Smith machine was available, so I told myself I’d just do four sets of squats and be done. But in the end, I also did deadlifts and back rows.

Wow... I could hardly believe it! What started as my most sluggish morning turned into a full session of heavy exercises.

The best part of my day, though, was on my way home. While riding the bus, I watched a sermon by Fr. Frankie on YouTube about God's providence and timing. He reminded us that we don’t need to strive anxiously—God has already prepared and ordered everything in His perfect timing, not just for our good, but for our maximum good and for His maximum glory.

If He acted according to our timing, things might turn out well, but they wouldn’t be the best for us.

Fr. Frankie illustrated this with a personal story: a moment of misjudgment—beating a yellow traffic light—unexpectedly led him to take his driving instructor back to church, ultimately changing the belief of an atheist.

Listening to his story deeply moved me. It felt like an affirmation that God will use me and my life for the greatest good—both for myself, those around me, and for His glory.

Right now, He is preparing everything. I may not see the full picture yet, but I trust that all I need to do is say Yes and surrender to His plan, His providence, and His perfect timing.

Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
