Have a joyful Christmas 2020

A Christmas to remember (Reflection)

This year Christmas is very special. Covid-19 has changed the life of the people. Tiny yet mighty virus could make a difference in the way we live. Prior to Covid-19, we could celebrate Christmas with our beloved family, relatives and friends. Gathering, laughing, touching, kissing are things that we did in the past. Limited gathering, masking up are things we do today. Despite all those limitations, there are always things to be thankful for, things that we could learn from the past, things that I could reflect on. What Christmas means to me ? This year I live like a horse, riding in the fast speed, looking forward the next day and not living in the present. I don't have time to pause and reflect. Everyday I live in the motion. Christmas perhaps like another festive day, having a nice family picture, attending Christmas mass, having scrumptious meals with our little family and friends. While I listen to this song "Terbaik bagiku", my tears of gratitude are flowing. God...

Thanksgiving Date (27 Nov 2020)

On Friday, we took leave and had quality time together with our kids and ourselves. In the afternoon, we accompanied the kids to T-Hall for wall climbing. In the evening we had couple time at Clarke Quay. Having dinner at our favourite mexican restaurant, Muchos then window shopping at Don Don ki and ending up buying salmon sashimi for supper. It's a cooling day and we enjoyed the time very much.

Discovering Passion

I call it blessings in disguise Through the sufferings, God reveals His will and shows the way to hubby. It's all started early this year when my hubby was jogging, suddenly he received God's wisdom that told him his new tasks to mentor and coach our children as He has provided our finance by giving me the new job. It was fulfilled in the way we didn't expect. On July, we attended Parents Teacher's Meeting and almost all the teachers commented that our elder has not been focusing in class and his results were under expectation eventhough he has the ability to achieve more. It's a wake up call for hubby, he decided to focus his energy and time to teach, nurture and coach him. He has 3 months to make everything right. 3 weeks before exam, he did abstinence with 3 rounds of novena praying for our son's exam. It's such as sacrificial love from him as he never done it before.  The results were out and he managed to make it right, however the blessing doesn't ...

November to Remember (Nov 2020)

On Friday the 13th, both of us took a day off to spend quality time together. It's a fruitful day and we felt rejuvenated, recharged and our love tank was refilled to 100%. We started our day with brunch at Tolido's Express Nook near Lavender. We ordered Breakfast set and Rosti set, it's filling, delicious and worth of money. After that, we strolling around the neighbourhood, buying some cheap shorts and found new playground for the kids, this will be one of our holiday activities. Then we went back home for a short rest, in the afternoon we went to have late lunch/tea time/early dinner at Seorae Korean BBQ restaurant. The meat was nice and worth of money, end up overeating. To compensate the over calories intake, we strolled around Orchard road from Dhoby Gout to Orchard MRT while enjoying Christmas light up at Orchard road. We stopped by at Skechers, one of my favourite shoes brand and bought two pairs of sandals as they had promotion S$1 only for 2nd item. This is early ...

TGIF Dreaming Vs Reality Date (23 Oct 2020)

Last Friday we had a fruitful couple time, we did cafe hoping, exploring new place and discuss about our annual budget and ending it with my favourite food, fresh oyster. We started our day with brunch at Wildseed Cafe @ Seletar. The place is instagrammable, the food is not so bad. We took so many pictures there and strolled around the area. After we picked our kids from school and returned home, we did our work for few hours before having late lunch / tea at Central Perk. We had a pizza to share. The food was so so but the place was another instagrammable Last but not least we had early dinner at Tanukiraw and enjoying happy hour with fresh oysters and beers. I ordered lychee martini.
