We engaged Local Private Tour Service while we're in Beijing. On our second day, we visited Yonghegong or Lama Temple.
This's previously a palace for the prince before he's enthroned and moved to Forbidden City.
More information about Lama Temple was here
This is the imperial way where Royal Family passed through before going through the main palace.
Praying with incenses in main palace. Eventhough we are Catholic, we just respected the customs there. We still pray to Our God and give thanks for what He has done in our life. My parents were the most grateful ones because finally they could step their feet into the ancestor's land.
This is the main temple that was still used by Tibetan Monks until today. Inside there's a huge and tall Buddha made from Sandalwood and it's a Guinness Record for standing Buddha.
In the afternoon, we visited Summer Palace. This Summer Palace was a gift from Emperor for 60th Birthday Empress Dowager.
The garden was so huge and there's kunming lake overlook the garden. We could ride dragon wooden boat mesmerising the past. More information about Summer Palace can be read here.

We had late lunch at Quanjude Roast Duck - Wangfujing Street.
Quanjude Roast Duck serves Peking Duck which must eat delicacy where we're in Beijing.
The skin was crispy outside, tasty inside and the portion was huge just nice for 7 of us.
After filling our tummy, we explored Wangfujing Street. It's like Orchard Road with lots of malls and shops. And we also found snack and souvenir street where we could find local artists and delicacies.
