Awesome April

April is one of my favorite months because it's my birthday month and this year is very special because I am turning 40 this year, people say Life begins at 40. For me, 40 is a new 20.

The theme for this year birthday is GIVING. It's about self-giving, my time, knowledge, talents to others.

Fr Henry ever mentioned during homily that we live to give ourselves to others.

Sun gives the light to others, it doesn't consume its own light

Tree produces fruits for others, it doesn't consume its own fruit

Flower spreads its fragrant for others, it doesn't smell its own fragrant

That's the life of nature.

From the beginning of this year, I have done something that I never do before on top of what I usually do it gives me so much joy and excitement.

  • Serving God through community with my music talents
  • Sharing my health and wellness knowledge to others 
  • Spending 2 hours of my busy time delivering meals for senior citizen
  • Doing fashion photoshoot with my hubby






  • Going for blood donation

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity.
