Remember that I was broken heart because the cruise was cancelled. Amazingly, God has better plan indeed and the best thing is I am able to travel to overseas and fully sponsored by company.
It's 5 nights and I am able to enjoy my "me" time without needing to think what's next.
Yes, it's been a hectic week prior to departure as my boss just decided that we go to bali 10 days before departure date and I need to think from A - Z where to stay, the master plan, place to eat, etc.
However, when I landed in Bali, I feel so much younger haha... can enjoy my own sweet time.
Thanks Jesus for the birthday gift.
Day 1 - 1 April
It's not April mop, it feels surreal to be able to fly again. Watching House of Gucci while enjoying my super simple dinner at SQ
Waiting for PCR and VOA, it's a smooth sailing, everything only takes 30 - 40 mins.
My first meal in Bali which is suckling pig.
The hotel I stay is Courtyard by Marriott, it's so comfy and homy. The size and design are perfect for me and it's facing the pool too
Day 2 - 2 April
Rise and shine, having my regular quiet time and praying then I head to gym for my exercise. It feels so good that I can have my own sweet time without need to rush.
After gym, then I enjoy my healthy breakfast. The portion is just enough for me.
After showering then I do some selfies in balcony haha...
Then I met with fellow team for bbq lunch, it's so good to meet them face to face.
Then after that, it's time to burn all the calories and we had team bonding at hotel roof top. It's scorching hot but it didn't defer the the fun. We had 3 games and it's so much fun filled with laughter. To close the hot day, I decided to dip into the pool afterwards while sipping pinnacolada.
It's time to get wild in the night, we had dinner at Motel Mexicola for some mexican food and continued with party until I reached 10K steps hahahha.... It's definitely a night to remember, things that I never be able to do before when I was young. For a moment, I forgot that I had family hahaha...
Day 3 - 3 April
I woke up as usual and attended the online mass first before starting the day, then continue with usual regime which is GYM and only do 40 mins, upper body workout before heading for breakfast. Then, I went for 150 mins spa, it felt so good, relaxing and rejuvenated.
Then, another beach party at Finns Beach club till the night.
Day 4 - 4 April
It's working day and we get a bit more serious for today. I started my day with gym as usual to revitalise and recharge my body and mind.
Then we have morning and afternoon workshops and lunch in between at Kilo.
The food was good, appetizing, and delicious.
After afternoon workshop, we caught sunset at Jimbaran while enjoying bbq seafood.
It's amazing, things that I have been missing for 2 years.
Day 5 - 5 April
Today is another fun day, we play hard and work hard. We did white rafting in the morning, having local Bali food Bebek tepi sawah and continue with afternoon workshop.
Day 6 - 6 April
Last day of the vacation, things that I will miss a lot is freedom to be who I am.
For 6 days, I just feel so alive, I don't need to serve anyone day and night. I can spend the time as much as I can to do the things that I love. No rushing, just chill.
This is one of the best trips I ever had in my life and the best of birthday gift from God that I can't thank enough for His great blessings.
Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a Year of Hope by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar. It is also the year I plan to embark on a new venture: starting a winter rental business. This endeavor excites me but is fraught with challenges. There are countless pieces of the puzzle yet to be solved, and I pray for wisdom and the support of "ordinary angels" to guide me through. This is also a pivotal year for our family. Two of our children will face major exams. While I know the journey matters more than the results, I hope they develop s...
Lord, Your word promises that you’re near to the brokenhearted. I am broken. My heart hurts from all the hard parts of this marriage. You promise to save those who are crushed in spirit. My spirit hurts from the deep cuts. Save this marriage, heal my heart, restore the hope and joy in our marriage. No, make it more full than it ever was, to begin with. In Jesus’ name. (Psalm 34: 18) Heavenly Father, you said I could cast my burdens upon You and You will sustain me. This hard season of marriage has lasted longer and been more painful than I ever could have imagined and I am failing. Please take this burden and help me to not be shaken from the commitment to our marriage. (Psalm 55:22) Holy Spirit, I am weak, hurting, and ready to give up on this whole mess of a marriage. You said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness”, but I am struggling to believe there is hope. Take this ...
This is the highlight of Cappadocia which is hot air balloon ride. As it depends a lot on the weather, we were lucky that we could fly to watch sunrise. We were picked up around 5.30am in the morning to Urgup area and arrived 20 mins later. They provided us with light breakfast while they lit up the balloon. We started riding it around 6.20am and it's so breathtaking to see the Goreme area and hundreds of balloon joining us. The sunrise is around 7am and by 7.30am we already landed safely. We had champagne celebration and received certificate too and returned back to our hotel for breakfast. Around 10am, we were picked up for Green Valley tour. Stopped by at Goreme Panorama and Pigeon valley for photo spots. After that, we went to Underground city where Anatolian people lived underground to survive from natural disaster and dangers. It's amazing how they build the houses and lived there for a long period of time. Then, we continued our tour to Selime Monastery and Cathedral ...
