Bangkok Summer Trip (July 2026) - Day 2

As my hubby had meetings throughout the morning and afternoon, I decided to enjoy some well-deserved "me time." I spent the day mall hopping around CentralWorld and Platinum Fashion Mall, with plans to treat myself to a traditional Thai massage before meeting my hubby for dinner in Chinatown. While browsing at Platinum, I found a beautiful top at such an affordable price. Looking back, I definitely should have bought a few more... no regrets, except maybe that! 😄 The highlight of my day, however, was the 90-minute Thai massage at  City of Massage , located just beside Platinum Fashion Mall. It was one of the best massages I've had in Bangkok. The therapist knew exactly where all the pressure points were, and I walked out feeling completely relaxed with none of the usual post-massage soreness. To top it off, they served complimentary butterfly pea tea and a delicious Thai snack after the session, which was a lovely touch. Before heading back to the hotel, I couldn't r...

Bangkok Summer Trip (July 2026) - day 1

To celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary, we decided to take a short getaway to Bangkok. Since we'll be focusing on our winter wear rental business for the rest of the year, we knew we wouldn't be travelling far, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time together. June turned out to be a rather busy month for our family. The kids were occupied with retreats and CCA training, while our winter wear rental business had several customer try-on appointments scheduled throughout the month. In between all the commitments, we decided to squeeze in a short family getaway. This wasn't the kind of holiday that required detailed planning or a packed itinerary. It was simply a drive–eat–sleep–and-repeat. More importantly, it was precious bonding time with our little family. Long hours on the road gave us the chance to listen to the kids' stories, laugh at their jokes, and enjoy one another's company without the distractions of daily routines. Along the way, we explored local food specialties and created simple memories together. We left Singapore at around 9 a.m. and arrived in Johor Bahru an hour later. After enjoying dim sum for brunch, we continued our journey straight to Kuala Lumpur. About four hours later, we reached Kuala Lumpur around 3 p...
