Eat - Pray - Love at Western Europe, France (March 2011)

After 2 years plus since our last honeymoon, we finally had an opportunity to travel as a couple again.
Our son was 18 months old at that time and we left him in his mom's care for about 2 weeks.
Visiting Europe was his dream therefore we went to Western Europe (France, Netherland, Switzerland, Italy)

He planned everything from the flight, the train, the activities, accomodation etc.

We flew with Emirates and transited at Dubai for few hours. Our first destination was Paris.
It was a beautiful and lovely city. We loved the architecture of the building. Our hotel was located at Trocadero area, stones away from Eiffel Tower.
The only thing that lacking was the variation of food. Everyday we only could find baguette as the main staple.
As there were many historical buildings, we visited Tourists landmarks like Sacre Cour, Montmartre, Eiffel Tower, Musee de Louvre, Arch de Triomph, Champ de Elysses, Chateau Versailles

Then, we took train to the South of France,  Lourdes.
It was a beautiful and quiet village. We loved just sitting there enjoying the scenery, prayed to Mother Mary.

We heart France very much.

When I want to refine my text in the previous post , I accidentally typing the whole things in the ChatGPT and this is the reply that I get  Your reflection on this “desert” period is deeply insightful. Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
