The Ancient City (Holy Land Trips 10 March 2019)

We stayed over at Triumph Luxury Hotel in New Cairo city.
The next day we explored Old Cairo and New Cairo area and had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe.







We visited one of the world wonders - The Great Pyramids and Sphinx.














We continued our journey to visit some coptic churches 

Cavern Church - where holy family lived there for 3 months before going back to Israel

Church of St Simon the Tanner ( the miracle of moving the mountain )
We had Sunday, thanksgiving and closing mass before heading to Airport for our flight back to Indonesia.

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar.
