April Love and 38th Birthday (April 2020)

On Saturday, we had a couple time dating celebrating my birthday in advance as well as our 12 years civil marriage anniversary.
I chose this restaurant heard from my friend, it's French cuisine.
I made a reservation too.

The food was nice, the ambience was good and we enjoyed each other companion.
After that, we strolled along Orchard Road and talked anything under the moon.

Thank you Lord for the quality time we had before lockdown, thank you for your blessings that we were able to enjoy nice food and thank you for giving me best hubby, well behaved children and helpful housekeeper so that we could have quality time without worrying at home.

Personal Goals - Health

After returning from a retreat on a private island and reading the book  "Surrounded by Setbacks,"  I made a decision — it's time to take real action to become a better version of myself. The past three years have been a rollercoaster, especially when it comes to my health and career. I’ve wanted to change, but I was overwhelmed by too many goals, trying to accomplish everything all at once. That approach left me stuck, disappointed, and filled with self-doubt. Now, I’ve chosen to take a different path — breaking my big goals into smaller, achievable steps that can motivate me to keep moving forward. The first area I’m focusing on is  Health  — something within my control and the foundation for everything else. For the last three years, I haven’t taken care of my body the way it deserves. I exercised regularly and went to the gym, but I didn’t pay attention to what I ate — and as we all know, nutrition plays a major role in shaping our health. I’ve tried dieting befo...

As for me and my house will serve you Lord

Finally, I’ve joined the boys in serving at the Eucharist. It’s not my time, but His time. Two of the communion ministers were unable to serve on Sunday morning and requested to move to the Saturday sunset Mass. This left the group leader looking for replacements — and he thought of me, knowing that my hubby has been serving at Mass for 10 years. I said “yes” to the invitation, and so began my journey: the commissioning Mass on 3rd August, a Day of Recollection on 9th August, and my very first duty on 10th August. It is such a privilege to offer Jesus, in the Body of Christ, to His sheep. As I looked into the eyes of each parishioner receiving the Body of Christ, I saw so many different expressions. My prayer is that this gift of the Body of Christ will strengthen them in their journey, whatever season of life they are in.
