Sin & Forgiveness

What is Sin ?
Sin happens when we disobey God's commandments.
Either it's big or small, sin is still sin and once we disobey God, it covers up our mind, heart, and soul and create huge border in between heaven and hell.

How the sin happens ?
It's started from desire and temptation.
The evil knows our weaknesses very well more than ourselves.
Once, we step apart from God, he will attack this little hole in our life.
He starts with deceiving. He shows us the sweetness and goodness, sometimes he can quote from the bible too.
Once we are trapped, he never lets us go.
The more we want to get out, the more he pulls us down with all deceives.

What's the consequences of sin ?
We start to doubt ourselves, doubting God, doubting others.
We will be confused between truth and lies.
Slowly, we will be blinded and couldn't see what the truth is.
In the end, we rely on our own strength and understanding because we thought that God has left us and we are completely alone.

Pride takes over us and makes us step farther from God.
The farther we are with God, the more lost we are in.
We chase the wrong things and all vanities.

Until one day, we found that's it's all useless, we feel so empty eventhough we have materials things.
We yearn to be loved as who we are, we are seeking the true meaning of life.
We feel tormented and live without any purpose
Slowly our soul is dying and feel like we are in hell.

How do we get back to life again ?
God never leaves us for sure, it's us who leave God.
In our lowest point, emptiness, this is usually where a little voice calls and touches us.
It's up to us whether we want to hear and follow this little voice, or shut and harden our heart.
The little voice usually never says anything other than "I love you as the way you are".
This is the turning back point that touches the humanity.
When we say yes, I want to come back to You, Lord, that's where the forgiveness and healing starts.

The consequences of our wrongdoings are still there and there's always pay back time because that's call justice.
But God is merciful, He never punishes us, He forgives and saves us from the death of our soul.
He gives us grace and strength as well as joy and peace while we are doing pay back time.

Once, it's all over, we could feel the peace and joy one more time.
Our soul will be back to life again.
We feel the heaven inside our life, love overflowing until we can't contain it, we always look forward the life and want to do something to save others souls too.

Jubilee Year - Year of Hope (2025)

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar. It is also the year I plan to embark on a new venture: starting a winter rental business. This endeavor excites me but is fraught with challenges. There are countless pieces of the puzzle yet to be solved, and I pray for wisdom and the support of "ordinary angels" to guide me through. This is also a pivotal year for our family. Two of our children will face major exams. While I know the journey matters more than the results, I hope they develop s...

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.
