Davin Indah Love story

Last week was a party week. I was having ladies night cum farewell night with my ladies gymmates at Hopscotch and chill night with our close friends at Le Noir. We felt that we are still in 20s single, young and foolish hahah eventhough we are parents now. It feels good though.

We had shopping date during Vesak Day, renewing our wardrobe. I bought some tops, pants and dress while hubby bought some tops. Prior to that we had dinner at Tamago-en, the cafe is pretty unique, their basic ingredient is egg and it's pretty delicious I would say. Who doesn't love egg ?

After 28 months from our last encounter, finally we were reunited again with our family in Jakarta. They flew back to Singapore for a short holiday. We had dinner, chill and fun together. 

We had a quick lunch date today to our favourite steak restaurant, the Ranch.  In the same time, I managed to book his birthday surprise after a week of fighting, phewww finally... Hopefully everything is going well according to the plan.

I love to give surprise in unexpected time so this time I am giving hubby Courtship anniversary gift which is personalised underwear with our picture on it. I saw the ads in IG and I thought it gonna be cute and bring smile to our relationship journey. And I bought this bag charm when I went to the mall last week, it's a yellow star which reminds me of his MSN status when we first connected with. There's no WA or facebook 16 years ago :P

Today marks 16 years since our official courting date. For some, the day "jadian" may not mean anything after they got married, however it always be in my mind and heart forever the day we officially became boyfriend - girlfriend. When I did spring cleaning in my storeroom, I read through some diaries I wrote and saw this. It looks cute when I read back about the dream of my life partner. I wished to have Angmoh hahaha and ended up with my hubby now. Even though physically is like 180 deg different, but his characters matched with what I wanted. This morning after exercise, I passed by the fruit store and saw very good deals fruits and they are sweet so I bought his favourite fruits - mangosteens, jambu, guava, mango. And when I came back home and browsed for music in spotify, there's podcast - Lovetalk by Tim and Chels, they talked about Tujuan pacaran (The purpose of courtship).  It's like a flashback what we have done before and to affirm that we were on the right ...

Is there any affair proof marriage in this age ? I myself wondering if there's such thing especially with the powerful influence of social media and internet, marriage is prone to fail how strong we think our love and marriage is. It doesn't mean that we have no more hope in marriage but this is a wake up call not to lower our guard against our "enemy" who loves to deceive us. I thought that our marriage is strong enough to handle all those temptations. We do almost everything the bible and wise man say how to build strong marriage foundation. We put God first, pray together and serve God together in the church and ministry. We communicate openly a lot almost every day We spend quality time together every weekend However, we lack of something which is the spirit of humility and we trap into self righteous mode. We thought that we are the perfect couple since we have done all those things above. We lower our guard and let the devil deceive our mind with envy, jealous...

 "Being a mother is learning about the strengths that you didn't know you had" I celebrate this year Mother's day back to back with my hubby on Saturday night then with our kids and friends on Sunday. We had exercise together on Saturday morning to start a day. We had a date on Saturday night at Robertson Quay area, at first we were fighting over a small matter because of miscommunication about Finns Booking, I did not know if he seriously wants to book party platform because considering that we will bring the kids and won't spend so much there, it's not wise to book party platform and spend so much. End up, he's angry with me because I didn't give him a chance to negotiate with Finns since we are more than 20pax (the max capacity). Thanks God, we were able to sort it out and the date was going well. We had late dinner at Japanese restaurant and dessert at Italian restaurant.
