On the third day, we will spend our whole day at Hakone. It's one and half hour train journey from Tokyo.
It's famous for the black egg as Hakone is volcanic area producing a lot of sulphur. These black eggs are actually normal egg boiled in the water that contains iron and sulphur thus it changes the colour of the egg shell but it doesn't affect the inside and taste.
We took romance train from Shinjuku to Hakone station, then continue with pirate ship cruise for half an hour, after that we had quick omu rice for lunch before continuing our journey using ropeway.
Finally we arrived at Owakudani where we found these black eggs, after that we continued our journey riding car ropeway and returned back to Shinjuku with rapid train.
We had Yoshinoya for dinner at Shinjuku.
