Career change - 30/60/90 days

As I learn from LinkedIn crash course about how to highlight your job, the speaker told us to create 30/60/90 days plan.

As I reflect back, it's the same process like what I do in my career to sell solutions to others, now I'm selling myself as solution to the organization and it could be easier as I know myself more than anyone.

so here's I draw down 30/60/90 days plan

First 30 days (1 - 31 July)

1. Market research in the industry that I'm gonna going

I'm gonna create decks about :

- Macro economic of ICT in Indonesia (as these are my asset)

- Statistic of digital fraud in Indonesia

- Who are responsible for preventing fraud

- What kind of cybersecurity system they need

- Who are the players that they are looking for to help them

- Which geographical market needs this solution most

- What are the entry barriers to sell to Indonesia market

- What are the opportunities to sell to Indonesia market

- What I can do to help these companies to enter Indo market

2. Build resume and cover letter

I will revamp my resume and cover letter and highlight :

- Personal profile, career highlight, career journey (what quantifiable impacts ), education, other skills and capability

- Creating personalised business development, account manager and customer successful manager

60 days (1 - 31 Aug )

Building my personal brand through LinkedIn and microwebsite for my portfolio and creating the pipeline

1. Revamping linkedin

- Like, comment and share articles and story with my personal thoughts

- Contribute to leadership and business development articles to get the batch

- Writing LinkedIn post once a week (personal growth, leadership, business (finance and security)

- Asking the recommendation from close friends / team (target 10 recommendations)

2. Micro website for my portfolio

- Personal profile

- Career journey highlight : Solopreneur with DIY Flashcard, speakers at Nikel

3. Creating the pipeline

- Source for 10 - 15 companies related with cybersecurity every week

- Create spreadsheet to take note the process and timeline (company, office and locations, employees, products, decision makers, culture and employees feedback from Glassdoor, what I think I could sell their solutions)

90 days (1 - 30 Sep)

Continue and expand the process

- Follow the company that I want to work for in the LinkedIn and get connected with the decision makers

- Send the cold email to the decision maker

- Attend networking and taking some short courses to enhance my skills

Birthday Trip to Vietnam - Hanoi (Cafe hopping)

We spent our  last day in Hanoi  doing what we love most— café hopping ! The day started with a local breakfast of  Banh Cuon , a soft steamed rice roll filled with minced pork and mushrooms, quite similar to  chee cheong fun  but with its own Vietnamese twist. Light yet flavorful—perfect to kick off the morning. Next, we visited  Café Giang , the birthplace of the famous  egg coffee . Rich, creamy, and unlike any coffee we've had before—it’s a must-try when in Hanoi. Our last café stop was  The Note Coffee , a cozy and cheerful little spot decorated from floor to ceiling with colorful  sticky notes  left by visitors from all over the world. Their  iced coconut coffee  was refreshing and delicious—definitely a highlight. Since our hotel was located near  Train Street , we couldn’t resist visiting it multiple times— three to be exact!  We even had dinner there one evening, enjoying the thrill of the train zooming by ju...

Reset to Zero Ground

Last week was an emotional roller coaster, as I mentioned in my previous blog . On September 28th, I received a revelation: my period arrived eight days earlier than expected according to my app. I was overjoyed, believing that God had answered my prayers. This felt like a sign that being a stay-at-home mom was my next role. I had promised God that if I wasn’t pregnant, I would be willing to follow His will, including nurturing my three boys at home. My first reaction was one of disbelief: "Really? Is this it, God? The end of my career and all my hard work?" Then, I met Tante Elaine, a speaker from Indonesia invited to discuss the importance of being fruitful. Her life story resonated deeply with me and provided another affirmation of my path. She reassured me that I am multitalented and that God might have plans for me that are greater than I can imagine for His Kingdom. She encouraged me to be patient during this process, reminding me that just because we can’t see the frui...
