Career change - What I want in my newjob

As the quote says, I am gonna write my dream job

My Dream Job Criteria:

  1. Flexible Working Environment: Ideally, I prefer a fully remote setup, but a hybrid model with two days in the office and three days working from home is also acceptable.

  2. Travel Opportunities: I’d like to have 10-20% of my role involve travel within the Asia-Pacific region.

  3. Inspirational Leadership: A good leader who is willing to mentor and nurture their team is essential.

  4. Skill Development: I want to learn new skills in AI and cybersecurity.

  5. Social Impact: Creating significant social impact through products and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, particularly in education, is important to me.

  6. Collaborative Teamwork: I seek a solid team that shares a common vision and mission to make positive contributions to society.

  7. Salary Expectations: My minimum monthly salary requirement is SGD 7,500, excluding travel allowances and annual bonuses.

  8. Career Growth: I am looking for opportunities that offer a clear path for learning and career advancement.

Conclusion

With a focused approach to my job search, targeting companies that align with these values, I am confident I can find a role that meets my criteria.

Let's see !

As for me and my house will serve you Lord

Finally, I’ve joined the boys in serving at the Eucharist. It’s not my time, but His time. Two of the communion ministers were unable to serve on Sunday morning and requested to move to the Saturday sunset Mass. This left the group leader looking for replacements — and he thought of me, knowing that my hubby has been serving at Mass for 10 years. My prayer is that this gift of the Body of Christ will strengthen them in their journey, whatever season of life they are in.

In my prayer, I asked God specifically for a sign: if there was even just one try-on appointment in August, it would mean that He still blesses this business and that it remains aligned with His plan. That very afternoon, I suddenly received a WhatsApp message from a man who wanted to arrange a try-on session for the next day. I replied quickly, asking for details — and to my surprise, he said 10 adults were traveling together! I immediately told my husband, though I also explained that we didn’t have enough stock for such a large group. My husband encouraged me to call and explain t...
