Put God First

Yesterday I was so tired and having breakdown because of my job. The company I am working for is looking for new office and with this pandemic, uncertainty in the future, it gives us a challenge to choose which office suits our needs and our budget because it's long term commitment. I have viewed 30 units and there are none units that suit both our liking and budget. I am not angry with anyone, it's just I am tired as what I have done so far seems wasted. However last night I dreamt about one of the bosses, he worked so hard and shared with me his burden. I felt enlighten and this morning I had this message from Dr Tim Gray, daily reflection. To put God first and all other things will fall into their right place. Well, I guess this what I gonna do. Walk together with God and let Him surprise me with His works.

A dozen of Love 2020

I remembered the day we got married, I told my parents I wanted to have a date that's easy to remember which is 6-7-8 (6th July 2008). Then my dad jokingly told me, today is easy to remember too 5-7-8 MAJU maPAN (liMA tuJUh delaPAN) which is in Bahasa means being prosperous slowly but sure forward. And when I reflected back today, how his simple words of blessings came true. When we flashed back how we started from nothing and how we are today, it's not because of our strength and luck. It's purely God's daily grace and providence. Like any other couples, we cry, we fight, we celebrate and we pray. We had different seasons in life too. However, we always come back to the creator of our marriage whenever we face the giant storms. Our daily bread yesterday, today, tomorrow and the rest of our life is John 15:5. We chose this reading during our wedding as we knew that we can't live without God even a second away. We may make mistakes h...

Joyful July 2020

Yesterday we had a dinner date celebrating our dozen of love being together as husband and wife. At first we wanted to try Hans, I am gluck burger but the queue was long so we decided to have dinner Tapas Club, spanish food. We sat outdoor as the rain just stopped, it was quite cooling and the ambience was perfect. We ordered 3 menus to share while talking and reflecting about what God has done in the past, present and future. We felt like a newly wed again. We thank God for the past 12 years, the painful process that we journeyed together. Despite all those things, we see on each other how we grow towards the better. There are times, we fail being our designated roles but God's grace picked us up over and over again.

Pre-Anniversary Celebration

It's not big and extravagant things that make up the memories. It's a little thing that we could enjoy together. Yesterday, we had Pre-Anniversary Lunch with our little family. Hubby cooked his forte and the main guest which is Steak and I cooked the rest to complement and complete the meal. It's simple thing but we enjoyed as a family.

Satur-date with God

I think it's been quite sometimes I didn't write what I am grateful for. So here's it is a list of my gratitude while I am sipping in my tea and listening to the song "Anugrah Terbesar" First of all, I am very grateful of God's unconditional love and daily grace. How I am loved as who I am with all my flaws, mistakes and imperfection. I am a free woman and saved by God's grace. I am grateful that God has revealed His purpose of creating me as one of His beloved one. This empowers me to make use my time fruitfully in this world. I am grateful for the good health and the body He has entrusted. This is the best gift I ever received from the tiny cells until the whole body, He wonderfully made it from my mother's womb. I am so grateful for another best gift in my life which is my hubby. How his heart thirsts to know more about You, seeing him growing closer and gaining Your wisdom are priceless. I am grateful that You have reconciled us, ...

We needed to check and and out million times to different shops, masks on every where except when we are eating. Well, hopefully everything turns get better and back to normal like before.
