Reflection in year 2024

As the clock ticks toward a new year, I find myself reflecting on the journey of year 2024. It has been a bittersweet season, filled with challenges and growth.

Here are some key takeaways :

1. Health is Wealth

Battling a frozen shoulder for almost a year was no small challenge. By God's grace, I experienced healing during my trip to Greece, a reminder of how precious good health truly is.

2. Family is the Greatest Gift

The first half of the year saw me travelling frequently for work, often feeling like a weekend mom. It was a difficult decision, but I ultimately chose to prioritise my family over my career - a choice I will never regret.

3. Forgiveness if Freedom

Forgiving those who have wronged us is never easy. Pride and ego can cloud our hearts. But by learning to empathise, forgive and let go, I discovered the freedom and peace that come from a truly unburdened soul.

4. God's Providence

Over the past five years, we've witnessed God's hand in every step of our journey, from selecting our home to finally moving into a place we can proudly call our own.

Thank you 2024 for the lessons. I look forward to the major projects and adventures that await in the coming year.

Maintaining Marriage Fidelity

This article is from Focus Family and I thought it's good as self reminder for both of us so we don't take for granted of each other and commit to maintain marriage fidelity for the rest of our lives. Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly decides to begin an extramarital affair. Infidelity begins in the heart and mind. By the time a person physically commits adultery, he or she has been indulging for quite some time in progressively more intense mental and   emotional affairs . Likewise, marital fidelity begins long before marriage. It begins as a promise we make to ourselves to be a person of faithful character before marriage ever enters the picture. It is a promise we make to our future spouse when we get engaged, and it is a vow we make to our spouse when we get married. Marital fidelity is a daily commitment to seek the best for your spouse and family. Strengthening Marital Fidelity Marital fidelity is strengthened when you affirm your spouse, listen to your spouse, and se...
