This marks the beginning of my second business venture: WinterBuddy—Your Buddy for All Things Winter.
This month is all about brainstorming ideas, conducting market research, and preparing for launch. Next month, I plan to officially register the business as a Limited Partnership on February 2, 2025. The date is meaningful to me—not only is it easy to remember, but it’s also the Feast of the Presentation. I want to dedicate this business to God, praying that it will bless people, protect the planet, and generate profits for meaningful purposes.
My husband and I dream of having our own dedicated space where families can try on and rent winter jackets and boots. However, we recognize the importance of testing our business model before committing significant resources.
For now, we’ve decided to start small—from our own home. Yesterday, we transformed our storage room into a boot storage area and showcased our winter jacket collection in the living room. While it feels a little unconventional, we’re opening our home to anyone who wants to try on the gear until we’re ready to rent a self-storage space and scale up.
Here’s to new beginnings and exciting adventures! 🎉
