Trust His Heart ....

The past four days have been incredibly hectic from the moment I woke up each morning.

From sending the kids off early, exercising, picking up winter clothes and boots, viewing storage units, serving in PD KKIHS, to teaching the kids at night—it felt like a never-ending cycle. I was so busy that I didn’t have proper meals, often grabbing whatever I could while on the road.

On Thursday afternoon, before serving in PD KKIHS, I found myself with 30 minutes to spare. I decided to enter Our Lady of Lourdes Church. The quiet and serene atmosphere gave me a moment to pause.

There, I broke down and poured out my feelings to God. I felt alone and overwhelmed.

I told Him that, if I had a choice, I’d rather work for someone else—just fulfilling my responsibilities, earning a paycheck, and not worrying so much about the uncertainties of entrepreneurship. I longed for the freedom to travel without constant concern.

As I gazed at the hanging cross, God’s love enveloped me. It was as if my Guardian Angels spoke to me:

**“Look at Him. He was alone when He carried the cross. He healed the sick, fed the crowds, and performed miracles that amazed many. Yet, in His most critical moment, He was forsaken by His disciples. No one cheered for Him; instead, He was mocked and treated worse than an animal.

Though He was God, He also experienced human suffering. In Gethsemane, He prayed fervently, asking if the cup could pass from Him. But in the end, He chose to do the Father’s will.

Many heroes of faith, like David and Joseph, faced similar struggles. But one thing is certain—these struggles were worth it. Victory always followed their trials.”**

I felt consoled and calm after that moment, ready to continue my day and serve at PD KKIHS.

That evening, Pak Alfons, the speaker, shared his own testimony. He spoke about losing his job, and, a year later, his wife. Initially, he struggled to accept these losses and doubted God’s goodness. But he found solace in a song that also deeply blessed me:

TRUST HIS HEART

(Excerpt of lyrics)

The chorus touched me the most:
“God is too wise to be mistaken,
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand,
When you don’t see His plan,
When you can’t trace His hand,
Trust His Heart.”

I felt as though my Guardian Angel was speaking directly to me. Even though I don’t fully understand what I’m going through, I know I must trust His heart.

A second sign came when a post appeared in my Facebook feed:

“We have two choices: Do HARD things for an easy life, or do EASY things for a hard life. When we willingly challenge ourselves, the ROI in other areas of our life is incredible.”

This message struck a chord. As I reflected on it, I realized God is working in every area of my life:

  • Spiritual Growth: Trusting God with my future, career, finances, and work, even when I feel completely out of control.
  • Personal Growth: Embarking on new adventures and building a business has been challenging but rewarding. It pushes me to solve problems, think creatively, and tackle everything from storage and inventory to finance, marketing, and logistics. These are lessons I wouldn’t experience working for someone else.
  • Character Development: This journey is refining my character—teaching me accountability, stewardship, and resilience. Although I have some financial resources to invest, I’ve challenged myself to fund this business independently, fostering discipline and responsibility.

In conclusion, I believe I am chosen for this path. While it feels like swimming in an open ocean, I have peace and joy in my heart, affirming that this is the way forward.

Jubilee Year - Year of Hope (2025)

Year of Hope: A Personal Reflection on 2025 The year 2025 has been declared a Jubilee Year, a  Year of Hope  by the Pope—a time for peace, joy, and prosperity. For many, entering a new year brings feelings of happiness and optimism. However, I find myself on a different path, starting the year with anxiety and uncertainty rather than joy and hope. For me, 2025 is a year of the unknown. It marks the first time in four years that I will not hold the title of a working mom. Transitioning from this identity feels daunting and unfamiliar. It is also the year I plan to embark on a new venture: starting a winter rental business. This endeavor excites me but is fraught with challenges. There are countless pieces of the puzzle yet to be solved, and I pray for wisdom and the support of "ordinary angels" to guide me through. This is also a pivotal year for our family. Two of our children will face major exams. While I know the journey matters more than the results, I hope they develop s...

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.

Prayer for broken marriage

Lord, Your word promises that you’re near to the brokenhearted.  I am broken.  My heart hurts from all the hard parts  of this marriage.  You promise to save those who are crushed in spirit.  My spirit hurts from the deep cuts.  Save this marriage, heal my heart, restore the hope and joy in our marriage.  No, make it more full than it ever was, to begin with.  In Jesus’ name. (Psalm 34: 18) Heavenly Father, you said I could cast my burdens upon You and You will sustain me.  This hard season of marriage has lasted longer and been more painful than I ever could have imagined and I am failing.  Please take this burden and help me to not be shaken from the commitment to our marriage.  (Psalm 55:22) Holy Spirit, I am weak, hurting, and ready to give up on this whole mess of a marriage.  You said,  “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness”, but I am struggling to believe there is hope.  Take this ...
