Jozankei, located just a 40-minute drive from Sapporo, was our first stop before heading to Niseko. This small town is famous for its onsen resorts, but instead of enjoying the hot springs, we decided to try snow river rafting—a decision we never regretted.
The snow river rafting experience lasted about 1.5 hours. In the middle of the adventure, we took a break to enjoy grilled marshmallows while soaking in the stunning scenery, including frozen waterfalls.
It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we’ll never forget.
After snow river rafting, we walked around 5 minutes on foot to nearby park that famous with red bridge over the river.
