Couple Time - Attending the Wedding (Sep 1, 2018)

Last Saturday, we were invited by our church's friend to witness their marriage sacrament as well as wedding party.
We attended the marriage sacrament in the morning at the church where our marriage sacrament took place 10 years ago. We came with our children.

It was beautiful to witness the sacrament, the marriage vow which at that time we took for granted and by words only. But after 10 years journeying the marriage together, we realized that the vows we made 10 years ago were seem powerful words.

The celebrant father also gave us beautiful homily about marriage. There were three components to build everlasting marriage.
1. The planner : Jesus
2. The worker : Us
3. The materials : Unconditional Love

Sometimes we love to take control the planner's role to head our marriage life which resulted in not so happy ending.
We need to do our role as worker to work on our marriage life according to the planner's.
Because He know what best for us and our marriage.

After that, we left our children at home with my sister and we attended wedding party at one of prominent hotel in the city.
We enjoyed the delicious spread, each other companion and I also had a chance to entertain the bride and groom by joining dancing contest games and I won hahaha...

Story aside, we were so grateful to have each other until now. Witnessing and attending wedding celebration is like reminiscing our memory back to where we began.

A Burger Date

It feels like it's been ages to have a date night with hubby, thus before my parents going back to Indo we decided to have a couple date over burger as I have been craving with Hans I'm Gluck burger. We went there, enjoying the burger and companion of each other and talking about anything, something that we are used to have but no longer anymore after I took a new role in the company. Then, I accompanied him to shop at H&M before heading back home. It's one of the best burgers I ever had since I am in fasting the whole day for a week. The perk of fasting is I could appreciate the food and enjoy it.
